As the three week mark approaches and the same problems exist, I'm beginning to think that they are just waiting it out. Waiting for enough people to give up on it so the server space frees up, things get better, they say "fixed, here are some packs and stubs (now go play the market)".

It's quite possibly the wrong assumption, but I suspect the fix is "more servers" or "fewer people playing," especially since this has been a problem year in and out. One solution costs money, the other doesn't.

Unfortunately, the choice is pretty clear. Unless you consider the damage done to the brand or consumer trust, many companies will take the easier, cheaper option.

I was thinking that I wouldn't get any issues playing my offline franchise and last night was the first time it froze up at the rewards screen. Wondering if I should keep playing or wait it out for a fix.

Like I said at least the game managed to save so didn't lose that

If you're only playing an offline game you're better off just disconnecting from the network while playing that game, that way you won't get stuck while exiting the game and you can continue with no issue

This happened to me last night to but it saved so I was not too worried even though I lost.

Waiting for the day the servers click, and all of the games that have gone to queue, stats that didn't get recorded, missions completed, and post game rewards given just magically show up

I love that they are introducing a new required skill to online play. Who can wait out a freeze the longest? Happens pretty much every game so I'm getting pretty decent at it.

So my record in DD is 2-0 despite me playing over 100 games. Is SDS aware of this bug?

Had a few games that played well enough over the last 2 days, but today had the worst game I probably have ever played Online.

Every pitch was one of those teleporters that looked like they were going one way coming in, then ended up somewhere else right before the plate.

Had to play 9 innings blindly swinging at pitches that weren't even located where they were shown.

On top of that, every time I entered the menu to make bullpen moves or substitutions I had to wait 5-10 seconds for every button press.

no issues since Sunday. Except one game that went into queue but i got my rewards some time later.

Still waiting for the play vs cpu game I played 2 hours ago to count. Im getting really ****ing fed up with not only the major server/queue issues, but their complete silence on the matter. Their servers crashed 3 times in 36 hours for prolonged times last week and they still havent even commented on it. Really disgusted by how they are handling these issues and will definitely be considering putting my money towards a different game next year, something I never ever thought I would say about this game.

Did you get a queue message or a disconnect? The former should count although you may need to exit the game and restart.


If it was a disconnect then it is gone and won't get counted.

I have only had two games from the queue count. Not sure why you would have any games go there when the reward is supposed to be immediate. Shenanigans.

If it was a disconnect then it is gone and won't get counted.

Ive had countless games go to queue and then never count so I dunno what youre talking about.

Just had another last night where I finished the hardware Griffey stuff, the Teheran rookie mission and beat the Nats for the third time and of course the game doesnt count.
