I was able to Play Vs. CPU after work yesterday with no issues but by the time my game finished up it was about 5pm. When I went to turn in part of the Chris Archer mission for beating Tampa twice, the menus were slooooooow. I didn't get to play anymore last night but this morning everything was lightning quick, but it has been that way the last 3 mornings.



This weekend will tell the tale. A free legend tomorrow, opening day on Sunday and Monday, and probably highest amount of traffic yet since its the first weekend after release. I hope it isnt a repeat of Tuesday.

Given the day, I have a feeling it's intended to be some kind of joke (which the community will likely take way too seriously and see as an insult ).

Wouldn't shock me if it was that Common Harold Reynolds, actually.

How is games constantly freezing "normal"? This is a thing that happens every year and still doesn't get addressed? A baseball game is like an hour commitment. Freezing half way through is such a let down and makes you not even want to bother playing. It's unbelievable they are allowed to release a game in this state year after year. As a first year show buyer I'm out until this doesn't happen. I'm so irritated by this launch. I'm honestly contemplating selling my pro. I only got it for two games. One of which isn't even close to fully functioning.

Maybe pull the gun away from the dome for a second haha.

Im 100% with you on the frustration aspect of all of this. I do agree its something that needs to be addressed and they have said before they would but it seems to happen every year. With that said, you should be glad you were not around during MLB 14 where games would only finish about 30% of the time before you got a blue screen or the game froze. They NEVER fix it that year. I would have endless battles with people to see who would quit 1st and get a loss. The past couple of years, this seems to be an issue for a week or so and it gets fixed. Frustrating? You d*** right it is, but I would hold off on selling the pro/giving up until it gets fixed. This game is incredibly impressive and once things are ironed out, then it will be the best sports game on the market. My offline games have been such a joy, but like you, playing against the computer doesnt give me the enjoyment that online does.

Now, if we are having this conversation next weekend or so....

Haha. Just realized it's 4/1. Would he nice if it was a random legend so we don't all have rookie Griffey and Harold Reynolds in our outfields.

I would have thought a joke might have worked before this disaster of a launch. At this point, they really should be giving everyone a legit legend for all the poor service we have had to deal with.

I dont want them to give anything at this point other than just the ability to play online. Thats all I want

At this point I think it is fair to say their solution is to wait until demand does down.

We as gamers deserve better than what the servers have been since PS3. We NEED dedicated servers! It's 2017!

At this point I think it is fair to say their solution is to wait until demand does down.

That's assumptive and speculation which I'm not going to do.

It is surprising all of the issues they're having...they had online issues last year, I would've thought all of that was ironed out (and learned?) as they created this year's game. I'm sure they're close to a solution though and I do think that SCEA will do more than enough to ensure the user base has been compensated for the time/effort lost.

Welp, that time of the day again. Every single day. Will likely be like this until extremely late at night.

Played my third DD ranked game today. 6th inning scores tied 1-1. I have the bases loaded. I hit it off wall in center field in Miami. Ball takes a crazy bounce. As the runner who was at first starts rounding third the game just freezes. I can't do anything. So I waited. After about 10 minutes I decided to go to the store. I come home after another 30 minutes & the game is still froze. I'm able to just close the application. I do that & restart the console. I look & it counted the game. Gave me a loss. Definitely filing a report on that one.
