Re: Longest Home Run Distance Contest ('17 style)
I've hit a 505ft bomb with Mike Trout and a 455ft shot with a shortstop with a CONTACT SWING!! I forget who, it was in a franchise, critical situations, I had simmed way into future for a test.

Re: Longest Home Run Distance Contest ('17 style)
I don't have pics, but in the first game of my RTTS in AA my guy hit two bombs, one 516 and the other in the 530's. I was incredulous. I play a Franchise with Stanton and have never hit balls that far before. Must be a minor league RTTS thing, because I'm not that good.Comment

Re: Longest Home Run Distance Contest ('17 style)
I've played about 25 play now games waiting for the OSFM roster and I have not seen a single home run over 430 Ft....
What type of hitting mode is everyone using?
Certain hitting modes might be the reason for higher home run distances

Re: Longest Home Run Distance Contest ('17 style)
I use veteran directional hitting. First year I've used lower than AllStar but hitting seems harder this year. It could just be me though, because I stopped playing last years game in August, so my timing could just be off.I've played about 25 play now games waiting for the OSFM roster and I have not seen a single home run over 430 Ft....

Re: Longest Home Run Distance Contest ('17 style)
I use Directional, Veteran. The two 500+ bombs I hit with my RTTS noob were complete aberrations. Don't understand how that happened. I've hit several 480-ish bombs with Stanton in my Franchise, but never over 500 with a "real" player. Wondering if wind had something to do with it -- I've picked up that wind has a huge impact in this game power-wise, which makes sense...I always go to the pause menu to check wind direction/velocity and adjust accordingly.I've played about 25 play now games waiting for the OSFM roster and I have not seen a single home run over 430 Ft....
