Am I the only one waiting for OSFM to drop before buying?

I love baseball and I've bought this game every year for the last 6 years (switched from MLB 2K). I really cannot wait to play with the new physics, Braves stadium, etc. that others have said in the impressions thread makes this an entirely new game...

..BUT without OSFM, I cannot play franchise mode as the random MiLB players would just stick out to me too much. I also don't want to relegate myself to exhibition games and allow the game to get stale or "bored" before I start my franchise, like it has in past seasons. Even when OSFM drops, I don't find I'm nearly as excited as I was when I bought the game. I'm trying to hold myself off and wait until OSFM drops then buy the game and allow myself just to get blown away.

Anybody else doing this.......or just me?

just buy it. that way you can practice and get your sliders set for when the rosters drop. Over the last few years it's only been 2 to 3 weeks after game release for rosters.

I don't have time to waste so I don't have the game until the OSFM releases. It's an easy wait, not even bothersome a little bit.

No dude you buy the game now, here's why . You buy the game day 1 then wait 3 or 4 days till a roster in the vault comes out that has most of your team's minor leaguers. Then you play a full spring training schedule, working on sliders and tweaks and complain on this forum on whats wrong with the game so its patched properly. Then about a month later OSFM comes out along with a couple of patches and you're ready for the regular season. Simple right?...now go jump in your car and buy this game! Rinse and repeat for the rest of you that are still waiting to buy the game.
