that's an awesome reason, but that's precisely why I'm waiting it out.

You're still gonna have to spend about 20 games or so to tweek sliders so really you're not wasting any time

I love baseball and I've bought this game every year for the last 6 years (switched from MLB 2K). I really cannot wait to play with the new physics, Braves stadium, etc. that others have said in the impressions thread makes this an entirely new game...

..BUT without OSFM, I cannot play franchise mode as the random MiLB players would just stick out to me too much. I also don't want to relegate myself to exhibition games and allow the game to get stale or "bored" before I start my franchise, like it has in past seasons. Even when OSFM drops, I don't find I'm nearly as excited as I was when I bought the game. I'm trying to hold myself off and wait until OSFM drops then buy the game and allow myself just to get blown away.

Anybody else doing this.......or just me?

why not just carry your franchise over from 16? i assume u used the OSFM rosters then

I went ahead and bought it on release to get the free pre-order bonuses. I'll play a little to get my timing back, but won't play much until OSFM comes out. I figure if you're 100% going to buy the game, may as well get it at release for the free stuff.
