Re: Team selection in Franchise mode

I'm actually pretty bad so far, but from my The Show experience I can tell that this will get better from day to day. Last year I had a blast with the Rangers, but I don't like to pick teams in back2back years in sportgames(I'm the "Play all games" type, so i usually play 1 team per year).
Baltimore is an interesting option I would say. Most I'm struggling hitting, so a team with some talent with that would be great.

I was looking at the Reds, but it seems like they are really bad this year. Second thought was the Pirates, I guess they are more fitting for what I am looking for.

Any other ideas? I don't really have a favorite team and don't really hate anyone besides the Giants, so there should be some options I hope.
Hate the Giants? Seems like you'd be a perfect fit for the Dodgers, except they have to be one of the main favorites to win the Show WS, despite not even reaching the WS since 1988.
Heck, I'm still going to recommend LA lol

If you play every game and you want to win now, the Cubs. You can have a different lineup every day and it will always be one of the best in the game. You'll have a chance at an MVP and a Cy Young. And say games in Wrigley Field, The Show is at its best in day games.

A lot of people say it's more fun to rebuild but I think trying to repeat with the Cubs will be very difficult and keeping their core together will take some clever moves, even with the inflated budget in The Show.

Winning 3 WS in a row with the Cubs (inc 2016) would be just as difficult as trying to win one with the Pirates or Rockies or Mariners or any other middling team.

Forget about the Reds. If you play every game, you'll be 600 games in before you can even think about the post season.

IMO theres no excuse for any team from ever being more than 3 seasons aways from at minimum a one game wild card slot.

I agree (in The Show at least). I originally wrote 500 games, don't really know why I changed it.
