Re: The Return Of The HR Celebration Cam?
There are two types of no-doubter camera views. One is where the camera pans out to show the entire flight of the ball, which is how it's usually done in real life MLB games on TV. The other focuses on the batter celebration. The biggest complaints are usually on the batter celebration view, because it's not as fluid and difficult to see where the ball lands.Comment

Re: The Return Of The HR Celebration Cam?
I really dislike how they show the manager's face after every single homerun. Why not mix it up and show other players in the dugout celebrating or just focus more on the guy who actually hit the HR? A lot of real-life managers really don't show a whole lot of emotion to being with lol.
Removing the managerial shot would be a drastic first step to improving the current homerun trot. Plus, what the Show needs is more variety, more camera angle. I would like to see the "stadium" and "crowd" and "surrounding players" showcased more during the homerun trot. Pulling the camera back, panning the stadium would do wonders to bring a more immersive and engaging moment.
None of the following has the manager in the camera and the following definitely provides a more exciting "atmosphere" "moment." I would like to see more of the stadium crowd (not extreme closeups, but pull back stadium shots that includes the crowds). All of the following also has a subtle different camera angle capturing the homerun sequence.

Re: The Return Of The HR Celebration Cam?
^^^This is the HR cam people like.
The other one zooms out behind the batter, showing a wider view of the ballpark. People don't like that one as you can't see the flight of the ball.Comment

Oh I see what you mean. Yeah I remember this oneComment

Re: The Return Of The HR Celebration Cam?
That's the "dynamic" camera for in-play view offense, right? Isn't that the only in-play camera this particular view shows up in?Comment

Re: The Return Of The HR Celebration Cam?
In the old games the HR Cam is closer to the one shown here, but it stays on the batter. This sometimes plays still with Broadcast on for me.Comment

Re: The Return Of The HR Celebration Cam?
Actually I think its the opposite one you mean. That camera is what plays if you have Dynamic for your settings on offense. If you have Broadcast you get a camera that zooms really far out, this is the one I thought people dislike.

Re: The Return Of The HR Celebration Cam?
This isn't quite the camera I was thinking about. The one I was saying I liked is where the camera is still behind home plate and doesnt move and you see the ball go out from the side of the batter.Comment
