The general premise of everything mentioned still works. I still use a lot of what I've learned when I play. As was mentioned in the earlier post it's effectiveness might be in question but imo the basics still hold true enough to be useful.

I'm way less qualified to speak on this than others on this forum; however, down and up are way more useful than push and pull this year. Personally, I've given up on the pull option with this iteration.

I personally could benefit from the details in the post. Simply pushing X Has its benefits however I feel like I’m losing out on the benefits of not utilizing the swing influence at times.

Exactly! Something was missing, so that's when I began searching. Would be great to see someone with a lot better understanding of the mechanics to create a new thread or update ones like this that have helped a ton of people over the years.

what i been doing is i hold eiher it up left or up right and its been ok i think

Generally, I only use the direction in a couple of circumstances I feel it is best.

If I have a runner at second I want to get to third, I’ll influence to the right and use a contact hit.

If I have a runner on third with less than two outs and the infield is in, or a runner on first, I’ll influence a fly ball.

These have worked for me for years.
