In 2018, what are the chances of having three team trades, and more than 3 player trades per team? Be nice for example to trade 5 players for 2. Better CPU trade logic as well. I would love to see a rotating inter league schedule too. I have my doubts that they put a whole lot of work into franchise especially since the franchise twitter stream in not till almost a week before launch.

I really hope we actually get a real broadcast style Post game/Daily Recap show after every game in any mode in MLB The Show 18!

The presentation in this game still feels dated especially compared to the NBA 2k series. Be great to have a legitimate pre-game show like in NBA 2k and side line reporters as well. If NBA 2k can do it I don't see why the show can't.

Editing coaches would be great. Make it so we can edit them like we can created players.

It would be wonderful, and on my list too. But I worry that its an issue like NCAA football, where the coaches association isn't getting paid and will cry about people being able to enjoy the game too much without their approval.

Totally agree with you 100% . Vasgersan has to go and get some fresh announcers in there. Also they have to reimplement announcing the players names in the starting line up. Also after the pitcher throws the ball tonthem catcher get rid of the stupid animation where he begins to throw back the ball and then it fade to having the ball back in the pitcher hands . Catcher needs to throw the ball back every pitch. Hey rid of animations not playing our. That's what's the X button is for fast play. Why can't Sony fix this and let the animations play out. Ugh

I say this every year, all I want is one very small, easily added thing. In exhibition mode, have a user selected option for "DH on or off?" regardless of home team. If I want to play Oakland v Seattle with no DH, let me. It's just exhibition. It affects nothing. Please.

EDIT TO ADD: oh yeah, definitely this too, although I realise it would be much harder to add.

-Players should wear their actual team uniforms in the All Star games.

Agree with getting the old 2K pitching system. Something less glaring is allow me to edit other players in RTTS. At least simple things like gear and especially numbers. And for the love of god, don't let 0 be a choice for CPU players. Every time I play I see multiple players with 0 as a number, but I don't know if I've ever seen it in real life.

That's gross. He's a non roster invitee though, I'm sure he would get a real number if he makes the team. When I play though, every team seems to have a guy wearing 0 and multiple guys wearing like 60s and 70s playing second base. It takes away a ton of immersion.

I thought The Show 17 was awesome. The only thing I thought was legit broken was the bunting. Every time I try and bunt it's harder than some of actual swings. Sac bunting is literally impossible because the bunt always comes off the bat so hard and fast and gets to the other teams fielder so quickly.

Obviously I've got requests and things I'd like them to ADD (editing coaches, compression sleeves for pitchers, pitching motion creator, being able to select different motions from windup and stretch, being able to select different stances from L and R for switch hitters, etc)....

But as long as they FIX the bunting, I believe I will be happy with this game.

What is the old 2K pitching system. Never played in games in that series. Is that what someone posted about a pitch getting weaker because "you threw it too much"?



Anyway, I would like the wildness on classic contained a bit, especially for pitchers with high pitch command and/or BB/9 ratings.


I don't imagine high command pitchers missing by what would be 3-6 feet irl very often.



I guess make classic a little more like Pulse with the constrained "miss range" with instead of me getting good/perfect timing, it's based on the pitcher's command the likelihood of perfect/good/JE/JL/VL/VE releases (and the associated "miss range" of the pitch).

I would also like less pitches down the middle. It happens far too often both for me and the CPU.


And speaking of pitches...some of the pitches have gigantic "miss ranges" that seem overdone - especially the curves and the slider.

A few years back (15 maybe?) bunting was considered too easy. If you had a guy with decent bunt skill and speed, you could practically bunt down the 3rd base line for a hit most of the time. I think that they've tried to correct that by going in the other direction.

Terrance Gore, Adam Ottovino, Mallex Smith, Yunel Escobar all wear number 0 and are regular players with the exception of Gore who was DFA in the off season.

Last year, I had my hopes up, waded through all of the nonsense to get to the final day of information about the game, and then they had nothing. So, while I'm waiting again, and I'm hopeful, I won't be crushed the same way a a year ago.

I boycotted the game and didn't buy it for the first time since 2007 last year. If need be, I'll do the same again. We'll find out in a week or so.
