I mean really??? If it's anywhere near the paint it goes foul every time. THe only time you hit it fair is when it's in he middle of he plate

This game is so scripted. 3 meatballs pulled with absolute perfect timing in the 9th inning with there closer up. I mean what else can you do but work the count to get the pitch you want. 3 hits in the same inning perfect timing where they do that stupid wave it fair cut scene. I'd rather it be a weak fly ball. At least I could justify that in my head. But come on that is way too much of a coincidence. Just getting really tired of feeling robbed by this game

If there closer is anywhere near elite it has to be foul. Because there's is no way with even perfect timing on a middle plate fastball a closer would ever iceberg up a home run. No that wouldn't be sim at all smh.

I'm sure I'm not the only one that thinks this, but you need to relax a little man. This is the second time today I've come across you posting like 3-4 times in a row in your own thread just complaining left and right about things. Play the game for what it's worth. If you're struggling hitting a pitch, take the time to understand that it's not the game that's struggling, but the user. Take it into batting practice and learn the feel of hitting the ball. It takes time, but you will get the hang of it. I went from 2-10 in my franchise to 12-12 just from learning to swing at better pitches and reacting quicker to pitches inside to pull them.

Ease up a bit and enjoy the game. There's no use in coming on these forums and complaining about everything obnoxiously, as it'll only result in your getting banned.

Just trying to help you out is all.

Shoot man, I have been doing nothing but jacking around with sliders since I got this game. The problem is I am winning more than I am loosing. I just am not enjoying the way I am winning. Nothing feels right on this game. Everything feels like a factor over user skill. I can't remembers any show where the game has felt this out of my control and I have been playing for over 10 years now. I just had a game where i received a wild pitch 20 feet off of the plate, send the runner on 3rd and the ball literally bounces off of the backstop at 100 mph right back into the catchers hand who hasn't left the plate for the tag. Is this the realistic ball physics they were talking about?

Or just play the game and quit whining on the forums about everything that is only broken due to user error and nothing the game can control.

Mods, please just keep locking his threads. Make it, what, 3 locked threads today alone from this guy?

look man, I am hitting just fine and winning more than I am loosing. I just don't like the way I am winning is all. Struggling would be getting shut out every game not pulling perfectly timed swings fouls 8 times a game and then yacking 4 home runs on late hits oppo taco. I have also only had one thread locked today, but why not make it another. You have been on this forum for a year and I have been on these forums well longer than that and have never complained about a game before until now.

Try swinging a touch earlier or later. When I see I am hitting a certain pitch to the same area a lot, I adjust when I swing. Good swings don't work well with on the black pitches. I honestly stopped looking to make good swings. I actually don't even pay attention to the swing info anymore. I influence the corner pitches with a earlier or later swing, depending what I am trying to do.

To set it straight, I've been on these forums for years, but my forgot my password to my first account I had on here. That's irrelevant to anything in this thread, however.

My whole point is that if you are looking for help, try doing it in an appropriate manner. There's no use in coming on here to be a smart *** and complaining about the game because you're struggling with it. I've never once seen any of these things you complain are wrong with the game, and I play it daily. But if somehow you are experiencing these things, be mature and ask it in the manner that you should and I bet you'd have more people willing to help you out and less of your threads being locked.

Are u using directional hitting? Cause if you are then getting a "good" swing isn't always the idea swing based on pitch and location.

Honestly, maybe you just need to reset your sliders and then make some adjustments from there. Every year, I like to play with them on default for at least a couple weeks just to get back in the swing of things. Then I make small slider adjustments gradually as I need them.

It sucks going back to square one, but as I haven't seen anyone else complaining about this, it doesn't seem to be an issue with the game itself.

This may have been said already, but the physics of baseball confirm this when the handedness of the pitcher and hitter are the same. You can't extend hands, but have to pull them in. The pitch is up so you have to generate more energy just to get the barrel on the ball because of gravity. If you accomplish both these things the odds are you are opening your hips too early or your bat speed has been compromised or both. The result is a foul ball, popup, broken bat, etc. The issue is the ability of the cpu and user to command the location of these pitches. A fastball up and in near the black. I don't care if you're ready or not. One of the toughest pitches to hit in the sport.
