Probably the most legitimate statement I've seen so far. It is absolutely baffling to me that SDS is so arrogant (or oblivious) that they missed simple, key aspects of contract and franchise control. Are there really no mid-season contract negotiations? How could they miss something so basic and fundamental?

I bought MLB '17 this year for $30 on eBay, and honestly it's a bug or two away from being traded back in for $25. I'd say I'm hopeful for fixes to come our way via a patch or MLB '18, but SDS appears so clueless half the time that I've lost faith.

I'm not happy with how little has been done with Franchise the past few years -- this year especially -- but I don't think arrogance has anything to do with it. DD is their moneyball, and that's where 90% of their efforts go, game-mode-wise. Franchise and RTTS "improvements" this year are almost entirely surface-level, nothing that really deepens either experience appreciably.

I don't know if you've bought the Show before, but I don't think there have EVER been mid-season extensions in Franchise...

Not implementing mid-season contract negotiations and budget carry-over from year to year is either arrogant or oblivious.

DD is a dumpster fire and has been for years. As long as they continue to utilize these ratchet servers, they will continue to have the worst online experience of all the AAA sports titles.

At this point in time, FIFA (and perhaps NBA 2k) are the top of the line shining examples of offline franchises. SDS would do well to take notes.
