    Any suggestions on how I could increase the cpu offense a bit without sacrificing K's?

    For me its is very close on AS, I would just like to see a bit more offense. I would think merely raising contact would do it, but that would reduce K's.
    i got lit up in my first few games on HOF pitching until someone posted about the 2015 thread that talked about release points. Since I've made this change, I'm been able to get realistic strikeouts and get the CPU out. Basically on fastballs, sinkers, cutters and changeups I make sure to not throw max energy and on sliders and curves I do throw max energy.

      Five games now;

      L 4-1
      L 7-0
      L 5-1
      L 11-2
      L 11-6

      Glad you're having fun OP but I think I'm headed back to the minors lol (AS).

        I'm currently on All Star using Psychobulks Sliders which are very close to Default. I can confirm if you increase CPU contact a notch you will decrease their strikeouts. To compensate you could lower CPU Timing a notch at the same time. Otherwise you could raise just CPU power a notch and you will see an increase in offense as well without changing their strikeouts.

          Psychobulk - completely agree, I have been bouncing around from slider set to slider set, tried your's with HOF/HOF (never have used HOF hitting) and they are great. Very balanced.

          Thanks a lot.

            I totally agree with having to pitch around guys. I played and won a 15 inning game against Mike Trout and the Mets, even though he had gone 0-4 during the first 9, I walked or intentionally walked him during his extra inning at bats because every time he came up there was a runner or 2 on. Thank god he usually came to the plate with some outs already recorded and I was able to work out of it every time. He definitely scares me when the game is on the line.

              That guy gives me cold sweats even if he comes to the plate with 2 outs, bases empty and I'm up by 5 runs lol. I just assume he will hit a rocket, start a rally and it will all crumble around me in route to a loss. There isn't another player I've faced so far that just rakes off me like Trout does so hopefully he heads to NY in my franchise as well and out of the AL West.
