Holy Toledo light up sign in Center Field at Oakland Coliseum, in memory of longtime broadcaster Bill King

Re: Player Personality & Stadium Atmosphere Help
I think the subtle addition of city noise at downtown ballparks like ambulance sirens, vehicle horns, or truck back-up alarms would be a nice addition.Comment

Re: Player Personality & Stadium Atmosphere Help
Also, unique led ribbon board graphics for each stadium, like there were in editions of The Show before '16 would be great. I don't know what's up with the generic graphics used in 16 or 17. I'm not saying they have to move all the time, just more of a distinction for each team rather than the same team name font/logo/orange lines seen now.Comment

Re: Player Personality & Stadium Atmosphere Help
I'd like to see the bleacher culture at the Oakland Coliseum reflected in next year's game.
As seen in this image, the right field bleacher fans have signs and banners displayed above the out of town scoreboard. Since the picture was taken in 2016, however, some of the signs (like the Josh Reddick one) are now outdated. I'll try to find a picture from the 2017 season when I can. They also wave flags up and down as the PA announcer introduces each A's hitter. This video explains a couple of the chants they have for specific game situations, such as three ball counts and scoring plays. Adding in the sounds of cowbells and horns, both being Coliseum staples, would be nice touches too.
The left field bleacher die hards wave flags, but don't usually hang signs.
Lastly, does anyone know if there will be general stadium and video/LED board threads this year? I have a lot of AT&T Park and Oakland Coliseum feedback ready for those threads.MLB: San Francisco Giants, Oakland Athletics (Sell The Damn Team, Fisher!)
NFL: San Francisco 49ers
NHL: San Jose Sharks
MLS: San Jose Earthquakes
EPL: Brentford FC

Re: Player Personality & Stadium Atmosphere Help
It’s not stadium specific, but for atmosphere, sometimes the crowd just goes quiet. Like after a big strikeout late in the game, they’ll just go quiet. I don’t know if it’s because of the inning transitions or what, but the crowd should be going bonkers at that point.
Aldo, the cardinals do the claw this year for their extra base hit celebration. I suspect it will change for next year (which is part of the problem for this thread).
You don’t care where I sent this from"The designated hitter rule is like letting someone else take Wilt Chamberlain's free throws."

Is there a general stadium feedback thread this year? Or should I just use this one?Comment

Re: Player Personality & Stadium Atmosphere Help
I have a few things to add for player personality:
The Gauntlet - Brewers only
For my favorite team, the Milwaukee Brewers celebrated home runs this season by "running the gauntlet" which consists of numerous teammates lining up and slamming their forearms against the player who hit the homer until they reach the end of the dugout where they get a cup of water dumped on their head. Here it is as a gif: https://media.giphy.com/media/QejEBk46Wy9RS/giphy.gif
This was done by many players not just Thames like in the gif.
Player Frustration
Another addition I'd like to see is any example of player frustration. Something like a player attempting to split the bat in half over their knee or slamming their bat or helmet to the ground in anger. Something like this: https://media1.giphy.com/media/2Faz3....webp#18-grid1
Finger Pointing
A common celebration that I haven't seen in any version of The Show is all the pointing that is done. When a player hits a walkoff home run (https://media.giphy.com/media/xUA7b2...gi4w/giphy.gif) or when there's a clutch hit late in a playoff game or chase where the player points to his teammates in the dugout (https://media.giphy.com/media/3og0Iu...tcGc/giphy.gif)
Gum Chewing
Not necessarily a celebration but there could also be more gum chewing/bubble blowing animations. Over the course of this MLB season, we've seen players hit home runs, make tags or just simply return to their position in the field while blowing a bubble. https://media.giphy.com/media/3EAKxd...oLtK/giphy.gif
Editable Quirks
I'm not sure exactly if this belongs here but being able to edit quirks would go a long way in game planning and actual gameplay.
I would say equipment is part of player personality so here's a few more possible additions:
Stance Socks
More player personality could be provided with the inclusion of Stance branded socks. Some players wear them while others wear the solid color ones like those in the game already and there should be an option for either to be used. http://www.trbimg.com/img-59358d05/t...flair-20170605
Home/Road Equipment
A lot of players wear different equipment at home than they do on the road. This is pretty self explanatory and I'm sure it's been mentioned before.Comment

Re: Player Personality & Stadium Atmosphere Help
While this may rub some people the wrong way, as a Braves fan, I would like them to add the chant for specific moments (rallying, 9th inning, etc.). They had it in MVP Baseball and that was pretty cool.Comment

Re: Player Personality & Stadium Atmosphere Help
In regards to this, one thing that I always thought would be cool to have in the game is the 7th inning stretch. You could listen the organ play "Take me out to the ballgame" while the camera pans around the stands showing fans and different aspects of the ballpark.
One other thing would be unique things that take place at each stadium. The President Races in Washington, the sausage race in Milwaukee, Beat the Freeze in Atlanta, etc...www.heyimbill.com | sports poster art and other cool stuffComment

Suntrust Park - in addition to the normal tomahawk chop (which would be cool to add)
They also have the lights out chop, where the LED lights turn off and cell phone lights are used, it's pretty cool looking.Comment

Re: Player Personality & Stadium Atmosphere Help
Please fix the backdrop at Angel Stadium. It looked great up until MLB 17 when there where a bunch of hill added right behind the freeway that don't exist in real life. They even block the view of the Honda Center which should be clearly visible.
Photo reference:
Here's what it looks like in MLB 17 (with incorrectly placed hills):
And here's what it looked like in years previous (much more accurate to real life):
Please revert back to the way it looked before MLBTS 17. It was great before, and is now an eyesore.Comment
