I did notice that in patch 1.09 that the camera shaking when running the bases using Player Lock or RTTS has improved.

If anyone was wondering. It's a small win but I'll take it considering it has been around for such a long time. At the moment have not installed patch 1.10

Wow, had no idea you could manually trigger a review like that. I wish I had known as there were times where it wouldn't trigger on it's own so I was under the impression it wasn't an option.

On a curious note does this also work when it's the third out of an inning?

I don't know that I've actually ever won a call. I seem to have awful luck.

Never tried it as a 3rd out Chef. I'm unsure about that. I do know, it has to be done right after the play ends though.

You can call for a challenge. After the play, hold SQUARE. Works every time and then I decide if I actually want to initiate the challenge.

Really? What level do you play on? I am on Hall of Fame hitting and didn't see a passed ball in either game I played tonight. I saw one that was blocked, but bounced away enough to allow an advance, but zero wild pitches or passed balls.

I play on allstar. Even have the CPU pitch consistency turned up 2 clicks.

Hadn't played for awhile, what's with all the bats warping on swings? Every
at-bat my bat warps a foot forward to make contact with the ball.

Thought it might be a follow-through issue, but it happens with all them.

First game after the patch and my offense is like swinging underwater. It's weird, I've had countless pitches to hit and done nothing with them short of a double by Seager. I'm facing Oakland so not like I'm facing a great rotation, my offense literally can't do anything at all. Hopefully it's just a one off coincidence since last night I was hitting just fine against Houston.

I've played three games since this update (veteran level) and I'm encountering the same issues.  I was normally scoring about 4-5 runs a game on average, now I've been shut out in three consecutive games (that hasn't happened in two seasons played on this game), the pitcher is throwing the ball straight down the middle and with good timing it's either a dribbler to the pitcher a grounder straight to an infielder or a fly ball to the outfielder.  I've also noticed several players where my defenders suddenly slow down when chasing a fly ball in the outfield, allowing the ball to drop ahead of them.  I haven't changed any slider settings for awhile, but the game is definitely playing differently, and the hitting is awful.  Swinging underwater is exactly the descriptor for it.  The players' hit zone markers are also way off...much more frequently than they have been in the past, even against bad pitching.

I'm going to say this and I imagine that it will fall on deaf ears, but here it goes anyways:

The reason some of these things that the community is asking to be patched aren't patched could very well be because they can't be patched without the fear of breaking something else. Or maybe they would require more "resources/time" than they can allocate at this point in the dev cycle. Remember, they have to try and balance their allocation of time/resources between patching '17 and developing '18.

And I don't understand the idea that the devs don't care. If they didn't care, why would they take the time to continue to put out patches? I understand it's frustrating when things aren't working properly and the devs release patches, but they don't resolve some of the issues that people are having, but it doesn't automatically they don't care.

This dev team has a strong history of being forthcoming and passionate about delivering an authentic simulation baseball experience. I don't think one bad game/year should diminish everything they have accomplished. Nobody bats a 1.000.

Still messed up in my honest opinion. I play offline and full games and the CPU still pulls the starters too soon.

I hope they make challenges to all kinds of plays Just not for first base plays. That is lame. I can understand the first year since they had no time to really implement it but the next year you should have it for any kind of play.
