MLB The Show 18 Cover Athlete to be Announced on November 6, Any Guesses?
Ugh. Disappointing. That’s because they select the cover athlete too early. Altuve deserves it. MVP. World Series winner. Proven to be one of the best players in the league. Most importantly, not a Yankee.Last edited by GoDucks1224; 11-06-2017, 04:02 PM.Comment

Toronto and LA are not small markets. Both are in the top 5 cities in North America by population.Comment

MLB The Show 18 Cover Athlete to be Announced on November 6, Any Guesses?
Minneapolis/St Paul metro has a population of 3.5 million, the 16th largest in the US. They have all five major US sports leagues present, and one of the most successful WNBA franchises ever. They’re only small market when compared to Houston/NYC/LA. But that basically is every team. Mauer was an MVP and one of the best players in baseball. Let’s not act like he didn’t deserve to be there. Again, this is purely ‘Yankees > Everything’ mentality. Let’s say Mauer was only on the cover for 2009. The 2010 AL MVP was Josh Hamilton. Miguel Cabrera was second. One could absolutely make the argument that either of them deserved it more. Hell, let’s go NL. Joey Votto was a god amongst boys that season. Pujols was more deserving than Mauer or Cano too. CarGo was awesome. A-Gon in San Diego. But he got the cover the following year, when he was in a big market.Comment

Boston was on the cover 3 times in 11 seasons of The Show. You’re gonna tell me Boston isn’t a major city? David Wright was on it in 2007. (That’s New York just by the way.) Detroit has almost the same population as Boston, Miguel Cabrera. Man this is just choosing to be ignorant at this point.Last edited by GoDucks1224; 11-06-2017, 04:31 PM.Comment

It's not about who's on the cover, It's what's in the case that matters!Playstation Network:That70s_Gamer

Its Judge, yuck. Really don't like the money grab for the 3 day early version either. I guess EA is publishing The Show now?In Loving memory of my "Cricket" 1/2/96 - 11/19/2012
