I'm going to start a new Blue Jays franchise and I usually start a franchise with a National League team, but I haven't decided which one yet.

30 Team Franchise.

All 162 with the Mets.

A lot of Player Lock with stars like Trout, Harper, Altuve, Correa.

I plan on doing some full games with good/new look teams as well.

Never really gotten around to play a franchise as I’m always working on my personal rosters lol. But it would always be my Jays even though I’m intrigued by the Padres this year. Their lineup looks pretty solid with the new addition, rotation obviously needs work. I actually have them playing on tv right now against the new Giants as well.

I'm currently in the early stages of the 2019 season with my Cubs in a Show 2016 franchise. Played all 162 of the 2016 season, simmed 2017, then played all 162 of the 2018 season.

I'm ready to hang it up and start fresh with the real 2018 roster though, if they make some decent improvements to franchise mode. A signifigant portion of the Cubs roster on my team are real life players, but either guys who were created in the minor leagues at one time, or ones who hadn't been in MLB long enough for the game to get a good read on them.

So if I get the game this year, its Cubs all the way. And I'll fix all the contracts for the entire league, same as the last two versions I've bought. I hope that they improve that section to make it quicker and easier though.

I guess it really depends on how sgnificant the changes are to franchise mode. If they are substantial, I'll start new osfm with my twins. If not, I'll carryover my '17 world champion twins.

I'll probably go Rays again when the osfm rosters come out, but it's going to be tough going considering they just traded away something like 75% of the homers they hit last year. Might have to go full rebuild and trade away Archer and Kiermaier

Gotta build a team around those two imo.

Will play as the Rays again. Although irl trading away almost all of talent on the 25 will be painful to watch, I'll enjoy rebuilding them with some great prospects.

Ok well up until 15 I had all my life since I can remember playing with my beloved green and gold Oakland A's. in 15 I decided to go another route and do an NL team. I chose the Miami Marlins. had a blast with them. played two full seasons with them.

was blogging about them over on the show nation, however, they rebuilt the site and videos and photos were no longer allowed on sites in this form of reply. So I did a fantasy draft in 16 and had fun with it as the A's. 17 I barely got in 40 full hrs on with all modes. just didn't feel it last year.

This year I am torn first of all with what to do. Part of me wants to run with the default A's roster and get back to my roots so to speak.

The other part of me is all about fantasy drafts with the A's. then there is the part of me that is completely undecided what team to use or how to approach it.

To say that I have a great amount of thinking to do is extremely understated at this moment I guess I know what my pre-launch weekend will be all about... looking at teams and playing around with fantasy drafts with all sorts of different teams.

I toyed with repeating that idea last year and swapping Cubs for White Sox but at the end of the day I went with a real Pale Hose team.

Took a mean hiatus from The Show and was supposed to get last year since 'The Kid' was on the cover. However, I didn't do it and I feel shameful! So this year I'm going to get '18 in spite of a Yankee being on the cover. I'm kinda hype for it since I haven't bought the game in like 4 years.

So who am I going to use in franchise? The Orioles or the Mets. Most likely the O's though, who don't want to see 82 games in the greatest ballpark on earth?!

I notice a lot of posters choose teams based on current rosters. Normally I will choose my team then rewind the off season moves, make my own analysis of the team and build my team starting in the previous off season. NBA 2K has the option to do this at the begging of the mode.

This year I am taking control of my Orioles, giving them a new management team and start to build my roster from the trade deadline last year...Zach and Manny will be traded. I'm not doing a complete rebuild but I will add prospects and fill other holes through free agents and keep the team competitive in the AL East.

Giants as always...

Probably one of the hardest teams to rebuilt since they enjoy trading away the few prospects we have for aging veterans way past their prime.

So yeah...usually I enjoy trading away a key player or two for some exciting prospects but this year I don't even know who I can trade for these prospects...

Trading Posey and/or Madbum is not an option but outside of these two the team completely sucks.

Anyways, looking forward to it and hopefully I can make some inroads...somehow.
