They wont even give us the option for home and away gear which is as simple as adding a team color 4 and tying it to the color of the pants.

Holy cow this is so brilliant yet so simple and would make such a difference for those who enjoy editing equipment.

Last year tbey didn't give us the equipment other than what we noticed in the streams and trailers. We had to wait until we got the game until we saw what all was added.

I noticed some new under armour cleats and batting gloves in the last stream as well.

Not really an addition of new equipment per say, but I’d really like to see them add the option for base runners to be able to keep their batting gloves on. Feels weird seeing players that wear gloves while running the bases in real life, bear handed in The Show.

Not really an addition of new equipment per say, but I’d really like to see them add the option for base runners to be able to keep their batting gloves on. Feels weird seeing players that wear gloves while running the bases in real life, bear handed in The Show.

This would be great and needs to be done already. Way overdue addition that adds to the realism.

Does anyone have a screenshot of which Nike batting gloves are in? There are two different versions of the Trout (Edge Antler Camo and Elite). The Elite is much better looking and what Trout will most likely be wearing in season. Obviously we need the Huarache as well, but I dont see them putting in three different Nike's.

What they wont tell us is why. If they can do team colors 1 2 and 3 which are tied to the jerseys then they should be able to add a team color 4 which is tied to pants. Instead we get retro mode and new bat flips. Id be willing to bet that adding a 4th team color option that is either white or gray based on the pants you are wearing is much easier and less time consuming than adding an entire new mode that a miniscule amount of your customers care about. People have been asking for home/away for nearly 10 years now. It's ridiculous that they havent added it in.

Has SDS revealed as yet new equipment? Haven't they usually done this in "little things" or presentation streams? I saw many generic bats in presentation stream, particularly for Astros. And I think they have only mentioned one or two new pieces of equipment.

No they do it with the Road to the Show stream's. I guess that's where they dig in deep on the create a player capability.

Couldn't you just change your equipment color to gray for road games? If you were going to go through and change everything to team color 4, you could just as easily change it all to gray. It'd be the same thing.

You’d have to change everyone from white to gray and back every home/road series. That’s extremely time consuming. If I only have one hour to play I’m not going to spend that hour changing equipment. With a team color 4 it would change automatically. We are the consumer, we pay for the product we shouldn’t have to do the work as well.

Still holding out hope for Nike catchers equipment!!! But it's looking dimmer and dimmer with each stream... Would have thought we would have seen it by now.
