Can't help but feel all the extra (pretty pointless by the sounds of it) souvenirs are just going to further dilute packs to make the rare cards even rarer. Simply add a bunch of extra, worthless cards that you can now get and it means an even higher percentage of the diamonds won't be players? Seems like they've added hundreds of extra rituals/stadiums/sponsorships equivalent cards

I like the fact that you can now complete all of DD using only single player mode.

So the 125 attribute cap doesn't happen outside off DD right? If not, I find it weird. In the stream, they said how Gwynn hit .394 one year, and the raised cap actually allows him to potentially reach that. Without this, he was only capped at hitting around .330 despite being maxed 99 in contact, which doesn't show how good Gwynn is. In RTTS, the only way I can have that kind of season is if I play on a lower difficulty level. I think they should incorporate the 125 cap in RTTS but just changed the regression for that attribute to regress sharply while in  "Legend" cap. I don't know how they'd do this, maybe a time limit, or prime age range where it's possible, but I should be able to get that chance to hit .400 or break Bonds' HR record, just examples.

Listen at 1:07 17 seconds of the latest twitch stream. He states all programs and create a player are offline. You don't need to have PS+ or play other players online to do it. You just need an internet connection of course for DD but no required playing other players.

I've never really done Diamond Dynasty, but in 18 I'm going to try to get more into the collecting aspect.

This was my attitude for last year's game, but I just never got as into it as I had hoped.

I "accidentally" acquired nearly every card in 16 the Show, and completed nearly every team. In 17, I only completed one team, and only have roughly 70% of the live series cards (to say nothing of the legends, flashbacks, etc you can get). I'm hoping 18 is more addicting so I collect more cards on accident like I did in 16.

I like the fact that you can now complete all of DD using only single player mode.

I like the suggestion about CPU seasons which would require the player to manage the rotation and bullpen and have injuries have effect beyond the game they are hurt in. That would add an additional level of strategy to CPU play.

I also would prefer more different historic and legend players instead of having 4 or 5 cards for a single flashback or legend. They could mix it up by adding more different flashbacks who were good players, but not superstars.

Same here. Played the heck out of it on 15 and 16......not nearly as much on 17. Servers and gameplay were god awful.

It's in DD only. No need to worry.

Does anyone know if once a mission is complete, it tells you in the form of a pop up menu or something?
Was really long winded checking every mission last year to see what you had completed.

Probably not. That would be a pretty big addition and I can't imagine that if they implemented it that they would not have mentioned it during the stream.

I dabbled in offline DD last year. Had some fun. But it was quite annoying when I'd set up my lineup to try and achieve one of the goals on a Mission, playing a game thinking I had completed the goal, only to scroll back through the Missions to see I was wrong about something and didn't achieve it.

Or, conversely, scrolling through Missions to find I had completed something I wasn't even trying for and having no idea when I completed it. Maybe it had been days or weeks that I had rewards sitting there that I could have redeemed??
