There are other places to check this, but if you go from the PS4 home screen into Settings/Storage/Applications you should see MLB The Show 18 with its 51.66 GB size, listed alongside everything else installed on your system. That should be enough to tell you that it's fully installed and just waiting for tomorrow night.

I preordered yesterday but it never auto downloaded. Just got home and checked...still not downloaded so I went into my purchases and there was an option to download. I hit that and it downloaded 8gb and then it finished. Went into my notifications and saw that it was now downloading an additional 44gb so I believe all is good.

This thread has got me itching to get my hands on my copy from GameStop! Called and they aren’t doing a 9pm release tmrw night at my local Gamestop where I preordered. But I’m gonna call again tmrw and see if I can get another employee to give me the answer I wanna hear lol

In the meantime, where’s the “early impressions” thread?? [emoji12]

Half of the employees army local GameStop don’t even seem to know it can be picked up on the 23rd. I almost had to argue with the two that were working when I preordered to get them to understand they were doing an early release.

You're supposed to, but a friend of mine who works at Wal-Mart says they are putting the game out at midnight tonight and anyone can buy whether they preordered or not.

Originally I wasn't plan on getting it around release window but the 20% off code I got from Sony has changed a few things haha. I guess I can just wait until Tuesday.

Here's a question for anyone that pre-ordered with GameStop.

I just got a call reminding me about the First Pitch Weekend, but he said I can come and get it at 9PM Friday night. That isn't correct is it? Like, everyone who already has it preloaded gets to play it starting Friday morning at midnight, right? So GameStop preorders have to wait 21 hours after everyone else?

Update, went by the store and they're releasing it tonight. So the guy just said the wrong day in the phone call.

So I preordered by game from Best Buy on Tuesday.
It says they will email me the download code on release day.
Will they email it to me at midnight tonight?
Can I not start the download process before hand?
