Re: Preorder question
I won't do a physical day of release delivery anymore unless i absolutely have to. Last year I did it and I got the game on release date but like at 6 pm. Considering the time it took to install I ended up playing for like 2 hours around ten pm. What a waste of a day. This year I did digital release and know I can play several hours earlier. It's a big difference to me and I'm sure to others too.Comment

Re: Preorder question
Received a call from my local Game Stop telling me my preorder will be available for pickup on the 22nd.Comment

Re: Preorder question
Don't forget that last year the codes didn't print out on the Game Stop receipts if you picked it up before the "official" release time. If that happens again, you'll have to go back on the 23rd and have them re-print your receipt to get your codes. Hopefully they fixed that this year.Comment

Re: Preorder question
Do you have to pay when you pre-order from Gamestop? I reserved the game and said I pay in store. Wanted to make sure that was "pre-ordered" to receive the packs. Thanks. Always got on Amazon for the 15% off but don't see it this year.Comment

Re: Preorder question
Not sure if it's still done like that, but I'd guess it is.Comment

Yes, that's how it works, same thing for Best Buy.Comment

Re: Preorder question
So yeah, I tried to cancel my pre-order at Gamestop, and apparently they have no way of doing so. I did it all online, but I'd rather get the digital copy (I thought I had more to trade in at the time).
So - will they charge me $5 if I don't pick it up?Comment

Re: Preorder question
Since this thread is a mix of all things pre-order / preload related....
The preload's live. Go to your library and find The Show '18 in purchases, you should see the download button. The download appears to be in 2 parts again - the 7.7 GB "Quick Launch" part that normally only lets you play 2 teams until the game fully downloads, and the remaining part of the 50-ish GB total size of the game. They'll both download if you let it go, and the game should be fully playable for you at midnight EDT on the 23rd.
It's the final countdown! (Someone queue up some Europe)

Re: Preorder question
Best Buy is confusing. I pre ordered the MVP edition (physical copy) and it made it seem like I would get on Friday 3/23. I'm not so sure now, when I look at my order status it says "Preparing" and "Get it by Fri, Mar 23". That seems ambiguous to me. I guess I'll know for sure if it hasn't shipped by sometime tomorrow.Battle.net: xXKING08Xx
