Pretty much just offline franchise. Play every game.

This year I will absolutely be using my Yankees!

I also like to get into fantasy draft franchises and even ones where I sim a year or two and do the off-season free agency and trades to change the team a bit(last year I simmed two seasons to 2019 and picked up Bryce Harper with the Dodgers). Then I played the entire 2019 season with them and had a blast.

Back in the day, on the PS1 and in the early years of the PS2, I would do a lot of fantasy drafts in Triple Play. I was younger and had a ton more free time back then.

More recently, I sometimes have used the roster functions to create a super team on The Show and had fun seeing how well I could do in a single season. But since the Cubs have actually gotten good, I just roll with their real roster in year one.

Franchise Retro Mode with the sound settings tuned a bit to minimize the annoying announcer and ball in the air special effect sound.
