Well with Machado going to SD it looks like I’ll be restarting my Dodgers franchise with ‘19. I really like the idea of beating on a Machado led SD club for seasons to come.

I have a 5 year Padres franchise going. I was going to carry over, but now I want to start fresh just so I can trade Machado in Spring Training.

To be fair, I would have traded Harper as well.

Wow I had minimal injuries through about 60 games with the Phillies. Everytime I read your updates it seems like you always have someone injured.

Don't have everything in front of me but Astros defeated Rockies 4-3 in the World Series.

Rockies we're WC team that beat Dodgers 3-1 and Brewers 4-2!

Even though the Astros won , I simulated the playoffs and Dallas Keuchal and George Springer we're able to come of DL. I couldn't stop the sim so Astros won without 2 of their stars!

We won Game 1 of the NLDS against the Dodgers, 2-1. Our hitting was poor but our pitching staff shut down the Dodgers. Michael Wacha left injured, not sure if he'll pitch again in the NLDS.

Game 2 will be Carlos Martinez vs Julio Urias for the Dodgers. I'm planning on streaming that game, but not until Thursday.

The Cubs beat the Braves in the NL Wildcard and face the Marlins in the NLDS. The Cubs won Game 1 4-3 in a 17 inning affair. The first run of the game came in the 13th inning...

The Rays beat the Astros in the AL Wildcard game and will face the A's. The Twins vs Blue Jays is the other ALDS series.

I know there are some on here using the Cardinals, Luke Weaver has just pitched an amazing game against me. Fooled with some inside FB’s, got me with the downstairs CH a bunch of times and his all around work was immense. Probably the bets opposing pitcher I’ve faced all season if I’m honest.

Edit, I just checked and he has the “untouchable” quirk and it showed.

Edit 2: this was my first time playing in St Louis this season and the pitching camera is wrong according to the broadcasts I watched last season (just checked mlb.tv and it was an offset position for last season).

Just hit my first ever inside the park HR as well. No error either, just a solid line drive into the corner which the RF dived for but came up empty from and CF never made it over in time either.

So not only did I start a 2017 Reds Fantasy Franchise, I have decided to replay my 2017 Reds Actual Team Franchise again, too! This is where I play real life line ups and pitching to my best ability as the game permits, and follow real life signings, releases and trades across the league. I had pretty much dominated it the first time, with setting set at Veteran, almost everyone was an All-Star player and led almost all stats. So, I decided to bump it up to All-Star settings and replay it along with my Fantasy Franchise.

I will not be doing a story line type posting with this one, but will post results along with my Fantasy Franchise. Also I have decided to abandon Dynamic Difficulty setting in Fantasy Franchise and play it too on All-Star for a little while and see how it plays out.

RECAP: Fantasy Franchise - Reds swept the Phillies, going 3-0, in the first series. Dynamic Difficulty setting were low as I had just started out.

NEW: Actual Team Franchise - Against the Phillies, Reds went 2-1, Winning Game 1 (1-0), losing Game 2 (0-4), and winning Game 3, the rubber match, (5-3). Pitching with lower OVERALL rated pitchers like Feldman (72), Finnegan (71) and Davis (63) I am good with this series win. Team BA is .229 good for 24th overall, it was .180 after Game 2, and TEAM ERA is 2.00, we allowed 1 unearned run. good for a tied 3rd overall. Pitching is keeping us afloat.

You play with the pitch speed sliders maxed out right? I might try that as well. Still scoring fine on legend but I’m early on pitches so much, definitely early a lot more then I’m late. Looking forward to increased pitch speeds and contact hitters being better in the Show 19.

tried to load my old franchise and move Manny to SD but can't because "Budget reasons" SMH
