I'm also a noob to this forum and don't know how to edit posts smh.

What is a realistic expectation for rating progression through a season for a prospect if he's growing properly? 5 points for an A? 3 for a B? Or do players just break out and jump 10 points?

its hard to answer that because they may not progress that much if they are terrible in the minors. if they have amazing months/etc then you can see them progress pretty decent. I think a lot of people who play it tend to find that 70 overall is roughly around the time the prospect will be brought up to the majors.

a new milestone for me. I've never kept track of this in my head but I know for sure I've never retired 34 consecutive batters like I just did vs the Yankees on a damp, overcast Detroit day.

Love this. With everyone bickering about what they don't like or are seeing as bugs about the game, we haven't had the opportunity to enjoy the new additions, like you are pointing out with the dynamic weather. I am still in spring training figuring out my positions and who will make the final 25 man for the Colorado Rockies. Can't wait to see the overcast or rain in the early stages of the season shortly.

Any ideas on a team to take on? Yanks fan but im tired of using them. Want more of a challenge and to explore other teams. What teams and what approach should I️ take?

Reds were an option for me btw

Does anyone know if the trick from Show 16 still works? I haven't tried it yet but I remember if you had a prospect in the minor get on a hot streak and sent him to Single A (where no games are played) he stays hot and progresses much quicker

Well the Rays lost to the Cubs in the World Series 4-3. During the offseason the Rays didn’t make any moves since they were comfortable with their roster and farm system. Longoria decided to comeback for his final year on his contract which saved us from having to look for a 3B in free agency. Going into Spring Training now there’s a few spots open on the roster and it’s going to come down to who plays the best during Spring Training.

We lost game 2 vs the Padres 5-4. Trevor Rosenthal after closing out yesterday's game, blew the save in this one. Gave up 3 runs while only recording an out. Carlos Martinez was good allowing a run on 4 hits and striking out 8.

Our bats only managed 4 hits but Patrick Wisdom collected 2 of them with one being a 3 run homer. He later drew a bases loaded walk to get his 4th RBI of the game.

Game 3 coming up as we will have Lance Lynn facing Anthony Descalfani.

I decided to carry over my 17 franchise of the jays while I wait for this years rosters.

Tough spot to be in with the BlueJays as a rebuild is in the cards.

Last year in 17 I started the rebuild by trading Donaldson to the cardinals for Reyes, Bader and O’Neil. We also moved Osuna to the nationals for Kieboom, Fedde.

This year we are looking continue the sale by moving Estrada and Happ. We would like to move Martin to a contender with a need.

It shall be an interesting year....

I absolutely love what I'm seeing so far.

Don't feel cheated or over matched at all. CPU baseball IQ gets better, at least that is my determination from the early returns.

Beat the Padres in game 3 of the series, 8-2. Lance Lynn got off to a rocky start, but settled down. He last 5 1/3 innings before being removed after a rain delay. Tyler Lyons came in for 3 2/3 innings relief and recorded the save.

Our offense was dormant the first two games but we exploded for 8 runs on 11 hits.

Next up is series finale with Tyler Jungmann vs Mike Leake.
