I don't see any logistical or licensing reason as to why this would be turned off.

That would be like not allowing us to put sunglasses or eyeblack on because it obstructs part of the face.

I think this was just a mistake and they'll hopefully be a patch that unlocks it.

The game technically drops on the 27th, so we're still in the "early release" phase, AKA "pay to beta test our game for us".

I can't promise anything guys but if I compile a list like a I used to do for the Height & Weight changes I may can get Lorne to update them in a roster update.

I hate being restricted not being able to edit this stuff ourselves.

I understand height, weight and body types, but equipment should not be locked like this. It makes no sense.

I wasn't saying anything about height & weights other than I used to do a list and I got them added each year until I stopped doing them.

If they don't unlock it I can do same type of list and probably get them to add or remove the ones we need done.

EDIT: I do agree the face guards need to be unlocked no need to half to wait for them to half to add or remove them. To half to wait for a roster update each week to get the players would be bad for a lot of us roster editors.

JaCoby Jones has one too. I haven't played with the Tigers so I don't know if he doesn't have one though.

If they fix it and allow us to edit the face guards I hope they also let us edit duel flap helmets too

I wonder if it’s somewhat connected to the helmets.. since helmets aren’t editable for SCEA players in the past couple years or so.

I read that you can’t edit helmets at all? IE change from one flap to two etc? Has to be a bug that will be fixed in the first patch.

The only thing you can edit on helmets is Pine Tar. Everything else is grayed out.

Hopefully something comes from this. All CAP’s from a 17 Carryover Save can’t add the face guard feature. So I will hang on until the first patch.

What's crazy is when you create a player from scratch you can edit helmet stuff including the face guard.

I remember years ago we were able to edit the brim of the MLB players caps then the following year they took that away! I’m just glad they didn’t remove the jersey sleeve length this year. I was worried they might remove them after the brim debacle. When I started playing the game I was very happy with some things but the omission of Oakley and the helmet face guard really bummed me out!
