Re: Players Missing Faceguards
No Face Guard When Continuing Franchise From MLB 17
Creating a player from scratch in MLB 18 works fine. But when continuing a Franchise from MLB 17 the option is no longer available.

How about when you export the player out of franchise and onto a new roster?Comment

Re: Players Missing Faceguards
Some how my helmet title in MLB 17 is stuck to "Minors" even though I am in the "Majors"
Steps to make it work in MLB 18
Here is what I did to keep my 17 franchise into 18. Face guards will work for all CAPS with helmets set to "Protective" in MLB 17 Basic and Minors helmets do not update when coming from MLB 17 the setting will be locked (Greyed Out).
1. Create a player from scratch in MLB 17
2. Make sure the helmet setting says "Protective"
3. Import that player into MLB 17 Franchise Roster and choose Franchise continue from MLB 17 in MLB 18
4. The helmet setting will be stuck on Protective but you can add the Face Guard.

Re: Players Missing Faceguards
Okay I can confirm. Piggy backing off jada.
The chin guards can ONLY be applied to players with a protective helmet. This includes players being transferred over from 17. If a player has any other helmet other than protective the chin guard cannot be applied. There is no way to go back to 17 to change the helmet type. You'll have to recreate the same player in 17 using a generic player or the create a player feature then start a franchise and carry him over. Or just recreate him in 18. Those are the only options until Sony patches something in (if that's even an option).Comment

Re: Players Missing Faceguards
I don't think this was fixed completely? We cant edit helmets at all they are still grayed out. We can give face guard if they have a protective helmet and all real players have the protective helmet, but can you please patch in the ability to edit created players who currently have basic, minor, ventilated etc to Protective style helmets?
