I hate the bat flip camera. I like the game to have that broadcast feel. Plus the panned back view of the ball traveling as the outfielders go into their "surrender" animations just looks way too good to not have it play for every no doubt homer. It manages to capture the actual size of the ballpark and gives you a sense of how big of a blast you just hit. The bat flip camera destroys the immersion of a broadcast presentation. Would love for it to be an option again.
Might be off topic but I'd like some more non bat flip animations on no doubters where the hitter puts his head down and jogs the bases. Like he's been there before. Kind of stupid to be down by 8 and hit a solo shot where your player acts as if he just walked it off. Hit a game tying or go ahead dinger? Bat flip away. I'm probably just too old school though.

Reason: word choice
i ABSOLUTELY love it... nothing better than that... for both my team and the immediate pain it brings me when i give one up... oh yeah... keep this forever...

There is a player called Ken Griffey Sr that did exactly what you described.. Eric Thames does the same.
