No player of the game anymore ?

Looks like the player of game cutscene is gone too. Yeah I know we have seen it 2 million times but would have liked to see new animations for it, now find completely

In franchise manage mode there is still player of the game.

I’ve played numberours play now games on different presentation themes and no POTG interview or cutscene

Still there just doesn't happen every time. I just played a quick game vs Angels and they showed Albert being interviewed and had Gatorade dumped on him for hitting a walk off bomb

My first game I had the POTG after a walk off, so it’s definitely still there. I used the MLB Network theme if that matters.

I'm not sure, but I think it is one of two things. It either only procs after a close game, or it's only in the MLB Network presentation. I'd guess the latter.

I just finished a game and the player of the game had a little interview, the baseball card overlay animation was on the screen and it showed his highlights.

Edit: I was using the MLB Network theme, but that's the first time I've seen the player of the game in the 4 or 5 complete games that I've played so far.

Was it a close game or walk off? All my games have been blow outs

I've only seen Player of the Game from the text after the game is over. No interviews or highlights though.

It's still there. Make sure your presentation style is set to BROADCAST. I believe the default is HYBRID.

I am sure it was removed last year to streamline the post game experience and only happens when it's a close game/walk off.

I have played all my games on broadcast, some with mlb network theme, all have been routine finishes and i haven't seen a pog presentation yet.

I had broadcast mode and MLB network and still never have seen player of the game cutscene they really have cut it all out, mind you it is franchise mode not play now.

all I get is on the box score screen of who got player of the game.

I had a game last night with a walk off and I got the POTG animation/interview. It’s a shame that doesn’t exist on every game just walkoffs.
