I’m working with it right now with Sano, both 0 and 100 increase the “waggle extremeness.” Unless I’m imagining things or I’m misunderstanding you, I’m positive that’s what it’s meant for. I even remember the developers talking about it in the stream.

Either way though, my issue is that it appears both 0 and 100 represent the same extreme. I believe 0 is supposed to quiet the hands, while 100 is supposed to intensify it, but nearing either only intensifies it and I have a feeling this is a bug. I could be wrong about the slider and what it represents but it doesn’t seem to be working right for whatever it is trying to accomplish.

You can't. Neither increase the movement, they just change the angle of the wrists.


That's why I'm saying I hope next year they can add waggle extremeness, or whatever you'd call it.

I think 50 is as still as it gets? Unless I'm mistaken.

Also any adjustment you make to a stance janks up the practice swing and the bat starts morphing through the hands.

I will say there have been countless times over the years where a simple tweak (like the ones this feature allows for, e.g. closing/opening a stance or moving hands/bat position a bit) would have been enough for a very nice match. Like, “Man! If only I could close this stance it’d be PERFECT! Grrrr!”

If nothing else those days are gone. Good enough for me.

So far there have been two patches and the Batting Stance Creator is still broken. I hope they fix it in the next one.

I will say there have been countless times over the years where a simple tweak (like the ones this feature allows for, e.g. closing/opening a stance or moving hands/bat position a bit) would have been enough for a very nice match. Like, “Man! If only I could close this stance it’d be PERFECT! Grrrr!”

If nothing else those days are gone. Good enough for me.

But the thing is unless the batter doesnt have an open stance already, you cant give them an open stance.

Yes sir you could. Day one this game dropped. You could opened up any stance using the batting editor.

It looks like we will be getting some free packs or stubs again this year. It is some stuff not working properly big time.....

I tried opening up Lewis Brinson's stance for Travis Shaw, but I couldnt make his legs open up... Shaw has a really open stance.

Are people able to use the batting stance creator right now or is it broken for anyone else?

This happens every single time I try to edit Michael Conforto's stance...

if the "base" stance you are using is not open , you cant. You can only move front leg slightly open. Can't move the whole body into an open stance. Carew for example. The stance in the game is off. Tried to open up the hips and we cannot do it.

I don't think it's broken. What we have is IT. A frustrating stance tweaker. You have to scroll the hundreds of stances and tweak from the one that is close to what you are looking for.

It using a Generic 1 stance that pitcher's have. Also when I got the game Friday was working perfect l. I was digging it. I changed Freddie Freeman stance. It's broken now & that's sad.
