I was able to attach pictures. IIRC I put them on an imgur album and linked it.

It using a Generic 1 stance that pitcher's have. Also when I got the game Friday was working perfect l. I was digging it. I changed Freddie Freeman stance. It's broken now & that's sad.

So you could open Freddie's stance?

Too bad there is no way to fix the "broken wrist" top hand or that there is no load like Freddie has in real life. They have had YEARS to get this stuff right. I firmly believe they just dont have the skill and/or dont care.

I don't know what to.say. You know I saw Bryce Harper in his opd stance & viewed today it was his stance from 17'. That patch 1.05 messed it up.

Yeah I remembered being able to move Freeman front foot , straightened his leg, lowered the hips so it could be more crouched.

you can still do that. The problem is when you move the foot out it makes the legs so far apart it looks unnatural. I know we can't have everything but it would've been great to be able to move the body as a whole around. Further or closer off the plate, head tilt, open up the hips, etc. Just figuring out the offset Z axis thing, which is decent, being able to move bat / body in and out. The boundary numbers auto correcting can be very frustrating.

I love this batting stance feature there's a lot of quirkiness but if you keep trying with different stances you'll find one that is workable.
I'm tweaking batting stances of all my legendary players it takes a while but some of these stances work. This is a great feature and can only get better.

That’s the thing though. There shouldn’t only be a handful of workable stances. They should all work in the batting stance Creator. It’s currently bugged and i’m hoping they fix it soon.

I’m happy a bunch of you guys also sent a bug report. The more they get the more likely they are to fix the issue sooner rather than later.

I fired up my franchise last night and the commands are sticking again. I was able to edit a stance for a MLBPA player and was able to save it.

I'm so happy you posted this. I hadn't tried the batting stance creator since patch 1.05 on Thursday. It's working perfect for me now. I was just able to edit Michael Conforto's stance finally.

I have found that most stances are extremely limited when it comes to what you can do. I'm not talking about the different kinds of motions (though that is saved for another conversation), but with how much you can do it. It is more of a "batting stance tweaker," in that you can really only do so little with some of the stances.

Pretty much my thoughts. Some of the stances are basically "locked".

Like the Julio Franco one that's not QUITE Julio Franco. Can't touch it basically. Was also hoping I could recreate Phil Plantier's stance.

Perhaps instead of "forcing" it to reset if it doesn't like something, maybe just leave the flag up and then let you adjust it and you're only allowed to save if there's no flags.

That way you can work on it, tweak it, etc, instead of just forced to have it push back into whatever limit.

Yes, this is exactly what they should do. Let us change the numbers, and don't let us save it if it's not possible with the stance. Them resetting the numbers as the stance moves a little more makes some tasks pretty much impossible.

That being said, another good remedy would be of course to allow us to reduce or increase motion of the stance's rhythm, which is something that I hope is included in next year's game, among other things.

As I mentioned before (I think), I hope this isn't the extent to which they go with this feature, and I sure as hell hope they don't scrap it either. This for me is a game-changer, but it has to be implemented right.
