I can't shave with my eyes closed, meaning each day I have to look at myself in the mirror and respect who I see.
I miss the old days of Operation Sports :(

Re: Dynamic attendance
Has anyone noticed the crowd doesn't watch the ball at all. They stand for homeruns and but dont start going nuts until the ball is in the seats, even on no doubters when u know its already going to be in the third deck off the bat...Also some issues with plays at the plate, ihow they dont get excited or stand up in big spots.Comment

Why would you guys subject yourselves to all the bullcrap until it's fixed if it ever gets fixed. The show stinks this year. Everyone knows it. It got bad reviews. So stop with the conspiracy theory; be constructive (as per the TOS) or move on.Originally posted by Gibson88Anyone who asked for an ETA is not being Master of their Domain.

Re: Dynamic attendance
Here we have a topic where an issue was presented, a developer is actively engaging with the fan base and trying to figure things out and get this solved, and you still have people insulting the devs, claiming they do these things on purpose, crying "wHY Didet TheY See THIS!!!!!!" and just being disrespectful. Unreal.Comment

Can I ask what game mode you were playing in, and any info you have about the two teams? Did you happen to fast forward to that stage in the game or did you play the whole way through?
Here are some screenshots from a local test I just ran, showing it going from a 50% full stadium at game start to a 20% full stadium after the blowout:
This issue may have been valid and then self-resolved with the fix to the engine level bug that was discovered earlier this week. Hoping to get these fixes delivered to the users as soon as possible. To be sure, if you can give me more information about the matchup I will double-check any possible avenues of failure.
Again, I appreciate the screenshots and bug reports. QA does their best to put every feature through rigorous testing, but sometimes things fall through the cracks. User reports always help us find and fix issues that are in the wild, and it's greatly appreciated.
Hope you're all enjoying opening day!Comment

Re: Dynamic attendance
If you read thru the thread, you'll see that the dev responded to feedback and scenarios in-game; it's a given in any type of release that bugs WILL happen...the difference is that there are thousands of people to catch it versus a team of 20 or 30 QA testers - that's a large difference. That's not an excuse but simply how technology is today...I'm guessing you aren't living without a cell phone? I mean, they're constantly releasing patches/updates!
So stop with the conspiracy theory; be constructive (as per the TOS) or move on.
So let's pay $60 dollars for a game that's not completed that makes alot is semse. I think I have a valid argument.Comment

Re: Dynamic attendance
I'm just pointing out what I noticed. Last years version seemed like the crowd behind the plate followed the ball very closely, on fouls and things like that.
Dude, do you know how much memory and man hours you are talking about, trying to get thousands of fans to have "IK" to watch the ball? They have the players and umpires and some fans have IK, but not all. The anticipation is there and it does need a little work, but I will take this over fans standing up at the sound of the bat. Once the ball is hit into the stands that particular section follows the ball.Comment

And the White Sox! Haha. They only pull about 12,000 when they're good. Hahaha.

Re: Dynamic attendance
The other night I played an extra inning game that went 16 innings and one thing I was hoping to see was the attendance slowly drop off as more and more innings were played. But it didn't happen. The reason why I say this I remember last year watching the Yankees play the Cubs in Chicago with my MLB.TV subscription and that game went 18 or so innings and yes the hardcore people stayed for the entire game (or people who did not have to work the next morning). But many didn't. It's a tough call. Personally I can get by on little sleep, so I would likely be someone who would stay. But some people (especially ones with children) cannot stay. So it would be good if dynamic attendance dropped off as more and more extra innings are needed.Comment
