Maybe it is the same as pre-patch, but the difference was enough for me to move the pitch speed sliders back to default.

For me, it seems that pitch speed is faster after today's patch. Before when I had the sliders maxed it felt like '16 which I thought was really good. Now playing after the patch, the ball seems to be sped up.

I think you may be right. Haven't adjusted any sliders yet but definitely intending to adjust pitch speed. Post patch today the default 5 doesn't seem to be as slow as before. Default is still not fast enough, but it seems it was adjusted. Haven't seen any patch notes yet, so it could still be my imagination.

Placebo or not I had to lower pitch speed 1 notch after the 2 games since patch. Good thing is it's something easily adjusted..

I'm the opposite, before the patch I had pitch speed at 6 on legend difficulty. After patch I have it on 8.

Haven't had the chance to play after the patch, but I felt like oob pitch speed was too slow. While I appreciate how much granularity it makes for swing timing based on pitch location, the differential between fastballs and breaking pitches seemed too wide, but also fastballs too slow in general. It simply encouraged me to sit back and wait on too many fastballs in the outer half for easy hits on HoF.

Last year I played with a lower differential and higher pitch speeds and I'll probably do it again.

It is a bit too slow for my liking this year but I'm hoping I'll adjust and get used to it.

Yeah true, but at some point if the user is on legend with pitch speed at 10 is it a failure of the devs to accommodate them or the user just a freak of nature and is just too good.

I would recommend trying lowering the timing slider for users at pitch speed 10. I know it's not quite the same however.

People who find it fast at 0 have no way of getting what they want either.

Like Nemesis said, easy solution = make the pitch speed slider do more. They can either make the range bigger or make the increments larger.

I've been using 10 for both since MLB 15. I like the speed to be as close to real as possible. Obviously that's impossible but it's closer.

Patch 1.05 has "slight increase to pitch speeds"

Curious as to what people think after the patch.
