Re: MLB 18 Stadium Accuracy / Feedback Thread

Going back to post #41, this video does a good job of showing the Coliseum's outfield.

Will of the information and photos in this thread, I'm hoping that 19 is a lot more friendly to Bay Area stadium updates than 18 was.
MLB: San Francisco Giants, Oakland Athletics (Sell The Damn Team, Fisher!)
    NFL: San Francisco 49ers
    NHL: San Jose Sharks
    MLS: San Jose Earthquakes
    EPL: Brentford FC

I agree. Busch Stadium is way better than it was 8 years ago.

          1. New RF video board layout. Home and Away sides are static, lineup and pitcher info switch sides depending on inning half. The background color is actually now the same green color as the line score board and not purple like in the picture, they changed it since this pic was taken, but the layout hasn't changed.

          2. New LED board on the RF wall. Shows line score and ads. The entire top half is now video board.

          3. State Farm ad is also all video board now. Stays static for the most part, but will show replays and stadium interactions.

2.STRIKEOUT COUNTER NEW LOCATION AND LOOK

3.LED RIBBON NOW EXTENDS ALL THE WAY AROUND.

4.SAINT ARCHER BREWING CO. BAR AND GRILL SECTION.

5.BUILDING/STRUCTURE BENEATH BOTH SCOREBOARDS HAS BEEN PAINTED DARK GREEN.

          Spoiler

          LEFT FIELD VIDEO BOARD

The logo on top now has correct proportions and is not stretched like on the old scoreboard.

            STADIUM NAME: Oakland Coliseum

DESCRIPTION: Left and Right field fences are not accurate to Oakland Coliseum. The dimensions on the fences are listed correctly, but they cannot be correct. (Oakland's dimensions in both LF and RF are 330 - 367 - 362 -388 - 400. Yet the area of the fence between 367 and 388 is a straight line in the game. So in the game, 362 feet cannot be correct. It looks over 370 in the game) By doing this, the game changes the entire look of the outfield layout and removes the distinct shape of the outfield and some of the character from this park. It is obvious in the images just by looking at the shape of the field.

(Forgive me for not using spoilers on the images. I know how to use them with text but i can't get it to work with images on my device. In the text box it doesnt list my image, so there is nothing to put spoilers around...If anyone can tell me how, i will edit it.)

Or perhaps it shrunk because some of us are getting tired of sending in photos and info upgrades on their favorite stadiums hint hint "Citizens Bank Park" year after year only to be disappointed when we play the new MLB The Show in Spring and see like 99% of what we sent in was still not added!

I am talking YEARS here not just one year.

I have sent in some things like 6+ years ago and I am still waiting to see them show up in Citizens Bank Park in MLB The Show!

Batter photo background should be green - same as is already done for the pitcher pic.

Current game batter stats show up in the center of the videoboard after their first at-bat. Actually, these should move to the bottom part of the board (the "Due Up" list was only ever in mockups before they installed the boards), with the seasonal stats remaining in the center. Pitch speed and type are displayed next to the current game stats.

Just a couple of things for Marlins Park that I hope won’t get overlooked amidst all the new changes to the stadium this offseason:

Home bullpen is back in left field again, next to the Clevelander, after moving to right for the last few seasons.

When the roof is open, the glass panels should also be open. They can be operated separately, but the windows are always open if the roof is and almost always closed when the roof is.

This logic goes for Miller Park too. Almost always when the roof is closed, so are the panels. In TS18 the panels shut in like the 4th inning which is odd.

Thanks for checking into the feedback thread this year, Adam. I really hope that at least some of the AT&T Park and Oakland Coliseum changes can make it into next year's game.

I also thought it might be useful to link to a couple of posts I made in the stadium atmosphere thread that pertain to ongoing renovations in Oakland and San Francisco.

Yankee Stadium needs a few fixes.

                                1. LED lights flash when Yankees hit a homerun.

                                2. The LED boards in centerfield (Toyota Terrace) next to the batters eye restaurant need to activate. Last year they were frozen.

                                3. The concession stands in Yankee Stadium updated to LED screen menus not the old blue font lettering which says "hotdogs" "soda" "garlic fries" etc.

Old signage on concession stands below

                                Updated LED signage

LED Ribbons boards which were frozen last year in center attached to the Toyotoyota Terrace and other side of batterseye (below)
