Just to be clear. If I start a franchise with only one team, this glitch won’t happen?

I loaded my franchise and while it still does the milestone bug for opening day if i sim the next few games there is no mention of the records broken, yet yesterday when i did the same the bug would happen for days, weeks.

Think i might play a game 2 and see if the bug returns.

So it only effects the inside the show and not any stored stats or anything else ?

If you are playing 30 team control this is what you must do to avoid the radio show bug.


Simply play the visitors teams very first AB of the very first game of the season (check the game start time to pick the earliest which I believe this year is the Cubs vs Marlins)

Play as the Cubs.

Play the first AB - just swing and miss three times.....whatever just swing three times.

Once that AB is done....sim the game to the end....exit out.


You are done.

Well was going to try to play my game as the first game and then sim to see if the bug was there. 11th inning and FROZE! WHOLE SYSTEM FROZE! First time I have ever incountered a freeze. Im so pissed right now. I cant even get out of it.

I can confirm that you only need to play the opening game of your franchise before simming the day.

Instead of simming the other games first, then playing your game. Play your game before simming the first days game and the bug is gone. So you dont have to play the first at bat of the first game. Just play your franchise game first before you sim the day.
