It's still input and I'm willing to bet they do consider it.
I would agree - some do need to be eliminated, but most need tweaking, not removal, imo.
Seeing an animation too often shouldn't equate to it needing to be completely removed. To me, that means the situation/trigger should be adjusted or it should be refined (slow tags, OF need to break down better to throw instead of taking 20 steps to push off the wall, OF should interact with the wall...but not like that in that situation, etc.)
