I think the only ones for me is the dropped glove by the RP, but the one that makes me cringe is the chorus line of men doing the hand jive, mashed potatoes, twist and whatever unmanly contortion in between innings.

The catcher slide on a loose ball pickup. It doesn't need to be removed, but just put in a few different animations for it. They did tone down the amount of times that it occurs, but still.

Also, too many times the catcher turns his back to the bases and field to catch an easy pop-up. If a catcher has time and can turn his body to make a catch while facing the field of play he will, in real life. In this game 99% of the time the catcher faces the stands, even on pop-ups right near home plate. That means he cannot see the runners and is unrealistic.

This is how catcher’s are taught to catch pop ups because the ball would pop out of the mitt facing the infield.

Not how anyone I ever played catcher with was taught. And it doesn’t even really make sense, because once they touch the ball in foul territory the play is dead once the ball hits the ground anyway. It’s not like because you knock it back over the line it is a fair ball.

yes! Another example of someone at SDS trying to gear this game toward kids. Who at SDS okays this garbage? I hear next year's game will have an American Idol karaoke contest in place of the 7th ininng stretch.

Honestly that cutscene should just be kids instead of grown men and then it would actually be more fitting. The fact that there are no kids in the crowd is pretty weird if you think about it.

I believe there are kids in the crowd, but they just look like shrunken adult models. One thing that I do give credit to the 2K series was that they had children in attendance.

The single worst animation in my opinion is the one where you hit the ball between the 1st and 2nd baseman when you have a runner on first and the for some reason stop and make this weirdly over exaggerated leap over the ball, slowing down so much that the right fielder throws them out at second base. So unnatural

Could be doubling up on this one but the one I think should be improved is the foul ball down the line where the fan reaches over to grab it and falls on the field.

This maybe improved on already in 18, haven’t seen it as much. Keep it in there, just lower the amount of times it happened.

Not sure if it was said yet but one animation that must go is the umpires doing the safe sign 2 or 3 times on one play at a base!!!

It happens at random times.
