Yeah I get a lot of "oh it's 3-0, let me throw two pitches down the middle to get strikes" behavior that's both predictable and silly against a guy like Judge or similar.
Maybe the AI does that behavior because I'm very selective (low swing rate, low chase rate, at least by MLB standards - my swing profile is close to Carlos Santana last year in terms of O-Swing%, Z-Swing%, and overall Swing% and he walked about 14% of his PAs vs 9% MLB average), so maybe the AI feels like "well I better give a strike" instead of just letting me draw a walk and try the next guy.
Otherwise, it's not bad on HoF and I'll go back there if I can't get Legend to work out. It's solid but the sequencing gets too predictable sometimes and it costs walks I feel an IRL hitter would get.
I've raised solid hits to see how that goes. I have a feeling that will be part of the key, especially given how Directional works.
