Re: Pitchers you struggle against this year.
a lot of my worst offensive games in 18 have been in games in which Kershaw & Jansen both appeared. what a deadly combo.
as for pitcher I struggled with , I had to rely on Wade Miley way more than I wanted to, and I think he might hate me more than I hate him, after the results I earned with him lolOSFM23 - Building Better Baseball - OSFM23

Robbie Ray. Nearly a 30 MPH difference between the fastball and curve. If I can get him to lose confidence in the curve early and not throw it very often he becomes much more hittable. But if he finds early success with the curve I have a hard time with it.Comment

Re: Pitchers you struggle against this year.
There's only been a few that have really stood out to me that I just could not hit. I played against Kyle Hendricks a few days ago in my Braves franchise and I couldn't hit him to save my life. He was just constantly painting the bottom edge of the strikezone with that sinker, then would switch it up with the changeup and just threw me off. I think I got 2 hits off of him that game, and he went 8 innings.
The only other pitcher I remember having a lot of trouble against was James Paxton, but I don't remember what it was about him. I just remember playing him twice in my Astros franchise and not doing well either time.
Any pitcher with a good sinker is really hard for me for some reason. Especially if they are consistently accurate with it (like Hendricks).Last edited by BigChillin; 06-29-2018, 12:32 PM.Comment

Pitchers you struggle against this year.
Knuckleballers and submarine pitchers. No one specifically, just all of them. Have always got me, and always will. Knuckleballers are just unpredictable obviously and submarine pitchers I can never see the ball well out of their hand. It always looks like it’s gonna be in the zone to me, even if it’s super low. So I swing at literally every pitch they throw.Comment

Mike minor. God knows why. Also Matt shoemaker. That split is nasty"I know losing feels like kissing your sister, but the way were playing it feels like kissing a really hot step sister!"-Billy Bob Thorton from the Bad News Bears

Last year for me it was Jerad Eickhoff. I have a hard time with Rick Porcello even though I only played him one time. He ripped me apartComment

Re: Pitchers you struggle against this year.
In past iterations of the Show is traditionally been pitchers with high k/9 that give me fits, especially when paired with good velocity or late movement (or both).
This year though, it's the control artists who dominate me.

Robbie Ray and Nova also kill me every time too. Guys who specialize in slow, low curveballs and changeups just leave me helpless. Generally, any pitcher who doesn't throw a 4 seam or 2 seam fastball is going to have his way with me. Graveman of the Pirates just pitched a full game, three hit shutout against me last night.
My all time biggest struggles were against Brandon Webb, who threw a devestating sinker, low and in the zone all game long. Nothing but grounders to the middle infield and strikeouts, all game long.Anyone who claims to be a fan of two teams in the same pro sport is actually a fan of none.Comment

Re: Pitchers you struggle against this year.
The last two times I faced Max Scherzer, he's taken a No-Hitter/Perfect Game into the 7th. Dude is a control freak, and it dooms me when he continuously paints the corners.Comment
