    Gameplay.

There are so many different issues that are popping up and I thought I would share myself playing the game so that people could see how the game plays when I play it. See if they are seeing similarities and/or differences.

      Got it.

I don't think that issues arise "within an inning" necessarily or anything like that. I've been playing for 3-4 innings so far, and nothing has jumped out at me either besides the shouting kid. Sometimes things come with touch and feel though, and sometimes things just happen simply because.

I've had my outfielders jog at balls when they should have been sprinting to cut it off, I have had identical looking balls be called home run versus in-play, etc. They don't come around every game, but when their head pokes out it is something worth mentioning.

I'd like to start capturing more of my footage as well. I have actually captured some of these, but often what happens is I either leave it on the console and forget which save has what stuff, or I need more HDD space and end up deleting it because the file is gigabytes large. I also don't like uploading these to my YouTube channel when I'm trying to get more substance on there than just these little bits.

I am using Youtube. I did a dummy test of myself going through menus to see if it worked and it apparently did. I am about to start up a game to stream.

Question is it possible to make the game full screen and get the "ON AIR" side bar off?
Yup - press Share - go to Sharing and Broadcast Settings > Broadcast Settings > Advanced Settings. "Display Message to Spectators and Spectators' Comments" is probably checked. Uncheck it.

You'll still see the on-air notification pop up when/if people come to the stream or if they chat. It won't stay on screen for long, though.

EDIT: And I've got it going....I think. I'll let you all know after 9 innings...

EDIT 2: It's a bit nerve racking playing while streaming. I keep thinking..."don't do anything stupid..LOL"

I understand that you're not going to see everything in an inning.

This forum has become filled with back and forth of people seeing varying results. And unfortunately here of late, its turning into arguments instead of discussion. My thought is that we have the ability in this day and age to share a video of what we are seeing to show/prove what we are seeing, and that is my intention with this thread.

No more, you're wrong, you're a troll, you're a fanboy, nothing. There is no disguising/hiding what is shown in the video.

So I'm allowed to post videos too then, right?

If so, I have three issues to bring up. I already mentioned two of them and it seems I still have those files on this flash drive.

Not a lot to discuss on 1,3,4, and 5, at all, other than outfield jogging just clearly needs to be fixed, and that what constitutes a home run in that part of AT&T needs to be fixed. Pretty simple. Those would be perfect examples to send to SDS.

The infield fly i wouldn't worry about it. Even in real life it is a judgment call. Usually balls hit like that are ruled line drives in real life, even with that arc, not a pop up. I bet the game even lableled it a line drive.
Besides, no one got under the ball, and while it can be argued that the pitcher 'could' have gotten there and turned around, he didn't. He 'might' have had to catch it going away from the plate, or running, which is not an Infield Fly. Being a judgment call, generally umpires want someone able to be camped under the ball (even for a short time) facing home plate. (that is basically what the umpires are taught 'ordinary effort' is) before it will be called an infield fly. Some may argue it, but this play is definitely not a problem in my eyes at all.

I was controlling the pitcher. I started going to the ball, and thought better of it and turned away. I think I still have the original gameplay clip. Hopefully when I show it to you you'll realize that I basically exploited the game in that moment.

I'm not stating it's a game problem, but the infield fly rule is designed to prevent cheap double plays (minus bunts). Still ticks me off that the Braves were called on it in that WC game though.

EDIT: Here you go. I don't know why I didn't post this one in the first place anyway.

I am seeing it, but i still dont think it is sn infield fly. Its a judgment call on whether the pitcher could have stopped, turned around, and made it a routine play. I dont think it can be definitively said, therefore not an infield fly rule. I think even in real life that is not an Infield Fly. And i think it would have been exploited into a double play in real life also. There is no rule against not making an attempt on a ball in the air. That is a line drive, not a pop up. I am perfectly fine with that play just as it turned out.

On blzrs infield fly rule video, I dont know if SDS coded it this way (I doubt it) but the pitcher was the only one who could have caught the ball 'reasonably' & he wound up not being in any way involved in the play, so I dont know if that can factor in to it?

                                Yes of course.

In terms of the first video, really nothing to say on that other than it needs to be addressed.

In the videos in regards to the ground rules at AT&T park, I would submit those to SDS as bugs.

As for the second video, I'm really not sure what the rule is here. I'm thinking because it was a check swing (not a full swing) the game is treating it as an attempted bunt therefore eliminating the infield fly rule. (Line drives and attempted bunts are excluded from the rule)
