Since you seem to know how this all works under the hood, I was questioning to get a better understanding of how the system works based on the example you provided.

And I never stated that he was purposefully trying to lose, but rather extending the game. Based on the example provided, and your wording, I took it as to mean that the CPU would continue to get itself out since the Brewers were "picked" to win the game.

So the system stacks the deck/influences who is going to win or lose so long as both people play "normal" baseball?
Again, you're taking it too literal. If you intentionally try to prolong the game, eventually the cpu will score. Again, this isn't an absolute thing where games are completely predetermined before they begin. I'm saying that if you play somewhat normal and actually TRY, then yes, there are games where the cpu literally gifts you games and there are games where the cpu is just winning. As I've said MANY, MANY times before, there are ways to thwart the cpu, but it's almost impossible unless you play perfectly. You see it as realism. I see it as nonsense. The game will literally play idiotic and make little league decisions in order to achieve the desired result. I've seen it hundreds of times and many others have as well.

      Ok.
I can't shave with my eyes closed, meaning each day I have to look at myself in the mirror and respect who I see.

I miss the old days of Operation Sports :(

I'm pretty much being forced to collapse in September lol. I'm playing on legend default and the last 15 games or so have been absolutely comical. Computer killing me with timely bloopers especially the pitchers. Defensive animations and errors absolutely wrecking critical outs I need.

If I cared enough I would just stream all these games to show the shenanigans. I can pretty much call out everything that's going to happen before it does.

I'll probably find a way to make the wild card game, and then will be retiring this years game after the inevitable wild card game which will undoubtedly end the way I expect.

Great game, just frustrated to see how apparent this has been in "September collapse"

But September collapses happen sometimes. Just look at what happened to the Braves and Red Sox back in 2011.

            Atlanta Falcons
            Auburn Tigers

Oh no doubt I completely agree. But the game is walking a very fine line between simulation and well....being a video game. I didn't forget how to play come September. The opposing teams pitchers have now become challenging outs when not having much success throughout the season. I dont mind losing, but the fashion it all happened in left a sour taste in my mouth. I couldn't control my fielders dropping pop ups, catcher not blocking any ball low, and so on and so on.

Ive decided to give franchise one more shot before next years game in Hope's that retooling and upgrading will help. I didnt experience this season 1, but season 2 was very apparent with multiple hot and cold months which felt more fabricated than user based.
