Yelich deserves it most IMO. Or Betts. OR MIKE TROUT? The best player in the league still hasn’t been on the cover.

Man not to derail the thread but seeing an actual pic like this just shows how behind The Show is with its player models/colors/lighting than its competitors. Madden and 2k are way ahead graphically.

What are the chances its Ohtani. Esp. if he DHs next year while recovering from TJS. I dont think the Show has had a pitcher on the cover?

Personally, I think there’s no chance. They might stick him on a cover to market in Japan, but not in the US.

I think Betts is the strong favorite.

Although I wouldn’t mind someone like Chipper Jones being on the front again.

Nah. They won’t put Harper on the cover when he’s probably gonna end up on a different team.

As for Chipper, doubt he ends up on it again nowadays. When guys post controversial things on Twitter, particularly homophobic/racist/misogynist type things, they tend not to end up on game covers anymore lol.

Most people have been saying Betts and I strongly agree. He really just seems like the kind of guy that would be on there. Then again, we could be surprised and see Yelich on the cover... but I doubt it...
