Player Export question
Is it at all possible to export non created players from a roster? There are a few players missing from the base roster I have been updating (Rupp, Bourjos, Gosselin). They are on other rosters, but none of them have export as an option.Tags: None -

Re: Player Export question
I really hope there's a way to export created players from 18 to 19. I'm not very good at the finer details of creating players (mainly because I don't have the patience for it) and I create my own fake players like myself and some of my buddies and put them into the game because that's something I really enjoy. It just sucks that there was no way for me to take my players from 17 and put them on 18 which means I had to spend all that time creating them again and countless hours playing games and noticing little mistakes and then trying to actually remember what they were so I could go back in and fix them.Atlanta Braves

All players should be exportable/importable, even used from year to year. I would make the creation of rosters SO much easier. Got to be a way to do this, please.Comment

When you carryover a franchise from 18 to 19 (or 17 to 18, etc), those players are exportable. Then you can import them into rosters. I believe you have to make sure CPU roster control is on however. Someone may need to verify that for me, it's been a while since I've done itComment

That was of course my first idea and thing I tried but it didn't work. I couldn't export players out of franchise mode.Atlanta Braves

Re: Player Export question
This goes for any CAP, Fake player, or player no longer part of the MLBPA can all be exported out as long as CPU ROSTER CONTROL was turned on before you set up your franchise.
You have to be doing something wrong or not setting it up correctly.Comment

Re: Player Export question
If they are CAPS and you have CPU ROSTER CONTROL turned on in your 17 franchise and carry it over to 18 you can export players out of your franchise mode.

I don't play with CPU Roster Control turned on. So that is what the issue is. I'll try to remember that when it's time to upgrade to 19.Atlanta Braves

Re: Player Export question
If you plan on exporting yourself or your friends into a new roster on MLB 19 you'll have to start a new franchise in MLB 18 with CPU ROSTER CONTROL turned on and when 19 drops you just continue your MLB 18 franchise (on 19) and export your guys out into whatever roster you're trying to create.Comment

Re: Player Export question
Instead of starting a new thread, I'll ask here since its somewhat relevant.
When carrying over a franchise, is it possible to get the game to say a previous CAP player's actual name that's now in the game?
Example...I had to create Aaron Judge because he wasn't in the game in '16 when I started my franchise. So in game they call him Aaron Judd. Is it possible to somehow get the game to now call him Aaron Judge since he's in the game?
Hope that made sense.I can't shave with my eyes closed, meaning each day I have to look at myself in the mirror and respect who I see.
I miss the old days of Operation Sports :(

You'll have to wait until they add Judge as a last name in the name database.
2nd, option is you'll have to use the CAP SCEA Added back in MLB 16 and change his name to Aaron J. Judge and carry him all the way over to 18 or 19 and import him into a roster then change his name back to just Aaron Judge (don't give him audio names) and he'll have commentary lines.
Hope this made sense.Comment

Once you get from 16 to 17 fix him to Aaron Judge make a franchise, then once your on 18 he would have the real scan face and audio along with story lines.Youtube: https://youtube.com/@mlbnetworkleagu..._hz5M86fl-FbW4
