I dont mind paying 65$ but if there was an offline only edition for say, 39$ , I wouldn't complain.

Well for me the gameplay was a huge focus on 18 and they really gave us the best playing console baseball game to date for my money.

If they can come through with some much needed franchise enhancements and for me improved CPU logic and improved presentation to enhance immersion even more, it would go a long long way for me personally.

Far more stat swipes, historical matchup stats, just more meat and potatoes in terms of those things being highlighted during the games.

2K (crappy baseball game lets be real) did a great job with that aspect.

Here is to hoping franchise mode got some serious TLC for us offline sim heads.

I was a DD exclusive player the last few years. But they’re constant tinkering with the gameplay and the stupid direction they took the mode last year with the Immortals has me ready to completely abandon it and go back to Franchise. For me the biggest improvement would be CPU logic. I just want teams to act like they should in real life. Lineup generation, bullpen management etc... Used to completely kill my desire to play going into Fenway and Ortiz is leading off or some other nonsensical thing. everything after that is just gravy for me.

No doubt we all want better AI logic. With that being said 30 team control with everything set to auto for the other 29 teams except lineups will make you very happy.

I control every teams lineup so it is authentic and maximized.

I do not know if you know how to set up 30 team control. But make sure you create two profiles. The one for the CPU simply name it "CPU" and assign that profile to the 29 teams with everything set to auto except lineups.

It works perfectly.

Thanks to you Armor, some years ago you got me into 30 team control and even if MLBTS had a PERFECT operating franchise mode, I'd still run 30 team control. It is nice to know you can intervene any time you want to correct something.
