I'd be into that as long as it's the cities that have been mentioned as possible expansions irl and the uniforms look normal.

What cities have been mentioned and by whom? I might be okay with choosing from a list of cities but I'd still prefer to create my own uniform and since the code to create a uniform and logo already exist in the game I see no reason why they wouldn't allow that option.

PLEASE..PLEASE..PLEASE...PLEASE...LET'S NOT TURN THIS INTO A DISCUSSION AS TO WHY IT HASN'T BEEN DONE, WHY IT NEEDS TO BE DONE, I'M NOT BUYING UNTIL ITS DONE, OR ANYTHING ALONG THOSE LINES.

THIS THREAD WAS CREATED WITH THE INTENTION OF HAVING FUN AND SEEING WHAT FELLOW OS'ERS WOULD DO IF THIS FEATURE WAS IMPLEMENTED. THERE ARE PLENTY OF OTHER THREADS TO DISCUSS THE DECISION MAKING UP TO THIS POINT OF SDS ON THIS FEATURE

Ok with that out of the way.

I started a thread about Create a Stadium/Ballpark, so naturally I needed to start one about create a team/relocation/expansion.

I've never been a big proponent of this feature, but just like create a stadium/ballpark, my friend and I were discussing the other day, and I started thinking of ways I could/would enjoy this.

I don't think I would personally do anything in regards to expansion, as I like how things are now with 30 teams. But I would take advantage of relocation. And honestly, the only one that I would do is move someone to Montreal and bring back the Expos. Now who that team would be, I haven't decided, but I'm leaning towards the Rays, although that would mean the Expos would be an American League team and I don't know that I would like that. I've thought about the Marlins but I like having a team in Miami. I thought about the Nationals, but again I like having a team in Washington.

Other than that, I really wouldn't commit to another relocation.

So what about you? What teams would you create, what expansion would you do, or what relocation would you make happen if this feature ever came to fruition?

I've said for a while now that the Rays would move to Montreal and I'd put the Marlins in the AL. I worked for the Rays from '06-'11 and always thought this (or Charlotte if it wouldn't kill the Minor league market).

For me, the use-time would hinge on the ability to upload images for logos. That has been my biggest hangup from getting too much into the Diamond Dynasty team creator (and the mode just isn't for me).

Frankly, I'm too lazy to create all of the logos from scratch. If we could upload logos though, I could see myself getting into Negro League baseball teams, or college teams, or teams from movies even. I would absolutely love a Create a Team feature - I just hope they would take a page from the NBA 2k team relocation system. THAT is how a relocation system should be done. It's fantastic and very user friendly.

Well in this case, Tampa could become a minor league city instead.

Well in this case, Tampa could become a minor league city instead.

This area was awesome for Spring Training. I'd honestly rather have a spring training facility here again instead of the big club.
