Nothing worse than when the ump squeezes you on a pitch in a high pressure situation.

      Most realistic baseball ever? [emoji44]

Wasn't that the Joey Bats epic batflip game? Rangers vs Jays?
ANYWAY.. I once lost a playoff game because I threw two guys out at the plate...the ball beat them....but the catcher took waaaaaayyyyyyy too long to tag. Lost by 1.
I also lost game 7 of an ALCS on a bases loaded squeeze when the damn catcher couldn't get out of his crouch in time.
Catcher defense in the game has a long way to go.

I did't lose, but had my first 4 homer game dating back to the Intellivision!

Odubel Herrera of all people. Four trips to plate, four round trippers and 7 RBI's.

He was on deck in the bottom of the 8th when Hoskins grounded out....
        Baseball junky....

Just lost a critical game to the Braves where Max Scherzer went 8 innings allowing only 1 hit while striking out 8. He got the no decision. Adam Cimber comes in to pitch the 9th and the first batter he faces was Carlos Gonzalez who proceeds to take the 2nd pitch he sees off the right field foul pole for the walk off homerun.

I failed to take into account CarGo was on the bench and didn't warm up a lefty. But CarGo was struggling against right handed pitching (actually 30 pts higher average hitting against lefties) and I have confidence in Cimber, so I let him pitch to him knowing the top of the line up (right handed) was next.

I know hindsight is 20/20...but damn...

I'm imagining the Cardinals pitching staff holding a players only meeting, grabbing some lumber and whooping your field players upside the head telling them "THIS IS WHAT YOU'RE SUPPOSED TO DO WITH A BAT! HIT SOMETHING FOR A CHANGE!!!!
