Can they please fix the stadiums in 19. Latest videos there nothing special at all changed, besides the odd ad banner on the walls. Grass looks same, video jumbotrons have same "great hit "

It really would be nice to have the scoreboard graphics look like they’re not from 2002...

The actual scoreboard for player ABs look amazing and extremely accurate but stuff like the “Wow!” Text graphic that’s been there since MLB was produced by 989 sports has got to go lol

Honestly I'd be super happy if they just got rid of anything involving the American flag. It's embarrassing when you win a game as the Jays at home and every single screen in the stadium starts waving the American flag.

Honestly I'd be super happy if they just got rid of anything involving the American flag. It's embarrassing when you win a game as the Jays at home and every single screen in the stadium starts waving the American flag.

Because that sums up how offended I am. It may shock you to learn this, but many Canadians are patriotic, and seeing the American flag waving after a game at the Rogers Centre is insulting.

I mean, ideally they'd take it out for just the Rogers Centre (and hopefully add in a Canadian flag), but I've made the same bug report for 5 years now, including picture and video evidence. I've even had a direct conversation with one of the devs here on the forum about it, with the conversation ending with the dev telling me that the bug had been fixed.

Five games after the patch? Bam. Got hit with it again.

At this point I'm convinced it's just a fundamental flaw with the Jumbotron system, and the American flag needs to be taken out until the system is overhauled.

It's not ideal. I'd like to keep the American flag in. It's a nice animation, one of the best Jumbotron animations in fact.

If it happened once a season I could easily laugh it off. But seeing it every third win at home is insulting and annoying. I do take pride in my country, and this animation playing at the Rogers Centre is a giant middle finger to Canadians.

I can deal with it (obviously, since I'm still playing the game) and when looking at the grand picture its really not a huge deal, but that doesn't stop it from being insulting, even if it's just a little bit.

BTW..the American flag is proudly displayed IRL at Rogers Center...just like the Canadian flag is proudly displayed in all hockey arenas. Second, I would find it odd but not insulting unless you thought SDS was intending to insult. I doubt that. Third, it IS insulting to me as an American that you would want to remove "anything involving the American flag," which is why I fixed your statement as I assume you are not actually anti-American...particularly since you are playing a video game involving an American sport that has less than 10 Canadian players in MLB IRL and commenting in an American forum. That said, I had not noticed before but if true, I hope SDS more prominently displays the Canadian flag at Rogers Center and in cut scenes because that is what you would see IRL.

One final thought: You do realize that the hotel at the Rogers Center is an American hotel and much of the advertising in the stadium is from American companies?

It could be the Swiss flag for all I care. It doesn't matter how unintentional it is, it's still offensive and disrespectful.

This isn't some anti-American grudge. I'm the guy taking off my hat and singing both national anthems before a ball game. I just want it removed because, as you can see from the quote above, it's obviously a bug they can't fix.

I'm not going to bust down SDS's door nor am I truly upset about it. It's just the biggest fix I personally want to see when it comes to stadiums. I'm also going to call a spade a spade. Just because I have the emotional maturity to handle seeing the American flag flying right after the Jays win at home doesn't stop it from being an offensive act.
