It could be the Swiss flag for all I care. It doesn't matter how unintentional it is, it's still offensive and disrespectful.

This isn't some anti-American grudge. I'm the guy taking off my hat and singing both national anthems before a ball game. I just want it removed because, as you can see from the quote above, it's obviously a bug they can't fix.

I'm not going to bust down SDS's door nor am I truly upset about it. It's just the biggest fix I personally want to see when it comes to stadiums. I'm also going to call a spade a spade. Just because I have the emotional maturity to handle seeing the American flag flying right after the Jays win at home doesn't stop it from being an offensive act.

I just can't get over your choice of words. You acknowledge it is a bug. And this is a video game. You say you have "emotional maturity" yet you are offended. You say you are not "truly upset" yet you say all American flags should be removed. That is a gross overreaction. Are you also offended that most of the ballparks in the US don't have Canadian flags? Just pretend the game you are playing is on YES network.

I misspoke (wrote?), my mistake. I just want the one jumbotron animation that plays after a game is finished taken out.

They have a before the game animation that doesn't ever play at the rogers centre that's just fine, and they even have a canadian flag animation just for the rogers centre, which is a really nice touch. They just seem to never be able to get rid of the american flag animation that happens after the game, despite the fact that I have bug reported it for years and even had a direct conversation with a dev about it.

Sorry about this folks. I didn't realize my small offhand request would blow up into a big issue. I'll admit that I've been the biggest part of the problem. I've been fishing for an acknowledgement that the act is offensive, and no matter how right or wrong that sentiment is, it's pulling us way off topic. I do feel like there is a double standard here, because if there were a bug that made the Canadian flag wave after an American team won in their hometown there would be a group screaming bloody murder at the devs, but that statement is based on no actual evidence, and cannot be proved or disproved until it actually happens.

I think I should just stay out of this thread from now on. Once again, I apologize.
