Worse is the fact that they are now making you pay for them by putting them in packs. Yet more monetisation being squeezed in, while packs are going to be even more filled with pointless stuff that you don't want.

You can now at least pick the team you be drafted by again. Add that to the removal of caps and they have at least listened and got rid of the pointless restrictions they imposed last year

Personality grows over time depending on making friends on your team and interactions ("Bros on team", ew), that helps unlock perks of the 4 different trees.

Personally hate perks and never use them, but I guess it's an upgrade on how they were unlocked in the past

It actually shows you what area each dialogue choice will improve and by how much. Bit surprised by that

This is the worst MLB the Show stream i've ever watched. Now i'm a franchise guy but watching this stream there isn't anything i'm remotely excited about.

I know right? and look how dead the comments are on here only 4 of them.. it's looking more of a mobile game the way they keep putting the Ramone trailer up of buying cards and crap. I am sure there are plenty of mobile games around for that kind of rubbish, if RBI baseball wasn't aimed so much on arcade style form what I have read that might be a choice people will head too soon

and the red sox manager isn't even the world series manager winner???

And frankly, I find it inexcusable how bad the dev team is in conveying any enthusiasm during the streams. They seem exhausted and uninspired. Not in any way what you want on these streams where you are trying to drive up presales.

Maybe they seem exhausted because, well, they are in the middle of the cycle where they are working 80 hour work weeks and are in fact, exhausted.

No question. It's why you have designated people to do a better job of selling the game. If you are watching the stream right now - the friggin mini-game.... - you can't tell me this is making you more excited to buy this game.

You said you were a Franchise guy not a RTTS guy. So why watch and complain about a mode your not even going to play?

Because I love this game and watch each stream with an open mind. If I wasn't interested in RTTS before now, there is absolutely nothing in this stream that makes me want to even try it this year. That pisses me off because I want this game to sell better every year and I don't see any "improvement" in the mode. Maybe it keeps the same RTTS players but will this encourage new purchasers? Meh.

I think the first home run celebration videos were in 4K with HDR enabled. Just an observation.

I'm really ugh about that big ball thing, though. I sometimes go back and watch some of my old gameplay videos back when the game was on PS3, and while some will argue it's easier to pick up the ball and such now, I actually much prefer it way back when. I desperately crave someday they will allow us to disable that in the future.

I always use an ad blocker extension for twitch. I didn't use it for this stream and boy did i regret it.... and people wonder why others use ad blockers.
