Cool, if it doesn't do it for you, simple as that, just don't buy it. For me personally, Contract Extensions & Real Life Salaries is a big deal.

I actually liked what I saw of the new mode and it probably convinced me to buy the game again this season (Along with Moments, revamped DD and revamped RTTS).

I could maybe see myself trying several teams in this mode.

And if they really did not care about Franchise at all then they would not even bother to let you jump directly to franchise from this mode.

There's no right thing about not buying the game. You may not be happy with the direction of the game, but there are tons of people who love this game and are fine with the content it offers.

Hey, if you don't wanna buy it then that's great that you speak with your wallet, but don't tell others to "Do the right thing" when that is not the case at all for those who want the game.

No more of the false salary system, it helps with realism.

Have fun with that. When your 3 years into your franchise and all of the top players are sitting on the free agent list come the all star break, because nobody has the budget to sign them. We will see if it's still a "big deal" for you. Plus you could already do this yourself last year it just broke the game.

They haven't even changed over everyone's contract value to real salaries yet and the game is two weeks away from release. Do you honestly believe that is enough time to adjust the franchise engine. I doubt it.

March to October is a no go for me because of roster restrictions. A blockbuster trade during the season would ruin it for me if I was stuck playing with players not on my team.

However, game really got a facelift, ready to continue my carry over franchise.

someone like me who does not have a franchise running at the moment i will get 19 but i am not impressed too much about the mode this year. i will hope to buy when the price is lower i know it will be a while but this is not a full price worth game for franchise mode just my opinion.

My biggest worry is the trade logic. With real contracts you don't see the prospect for player trades you see without. Many times its salary for salary or one for one and also severely reduces them.

Curious to how real life value contracts work with carryover saves.

But contract extensions, the ability to structure the payout, and the presentation updates are all great additions for my personal taste.

One thing I was hoping for with contracts being the primary focus this year, was the ability to have contact options at other points of a contract, instead of just the final season.

Like signing a player to a 10 year deal with an opt out at year 5 or something along those lines.

I gotta say I like what I saw for the most part. I’ll still bury myself in the regular franchise mode once the rosters are out, but it seems like there is plenty of content, which I don’t think is a bad thing. I can see myself trying out a few teams in March to Oct. Thought the gameplay & presentation looked pretty tight.

And not huge additions to franchise (which we all pretty much knew to begin with), but I’m a big fan of the extensions addition if it works properly.

Shohei was on the default roster last year. So it's not out of the realm of possibility
