They won’t get rid of physical media it will never sell digital In Australia not when digital is $100 day 1 for a game, and physical copies can be sold for $69 to $80. Rip off the digital store is!

Also no you can’t play play now more everything is locked till 26th all it does is download the game a clock countdown comes of ok sxreen telling you when you can play it.

What NBA 2k did was if you pre-ordered, you could play it a few days ahead of normal release. I can't remember if The Show did this last year or not.

Auto download starts sometime today.

Yeah midnight EST tonight is what I'm expecting too, 48 hours before the digital release.

If it doesn't start downloading immediately by that time, go into your library on the PS4, find Show '19 and look for a download button. That will allow you to start it manually.

Preload is now live. To start it manually, find Show '19 in your "Purchased" library, press X on the timer box if it doesn't immediately give a download option, and press the download button that should be on the next screen. If you have your system set for automatic downloads it will probably start the download itself at some point tonight.

The initial download will be 9.3 GB, but this is NOT the full game. If you let it go after that it will continue to download the rest of the game (total 52.6 GB). The game must be fully downloaded for you to not get locked into the Boston/LA exhibition game at midnight Eastern on Tuesday.

In my library, it has the Phillies cover. But the actual download has the hoodie cover. Hope they get that updated soon.

It looks like you just described why Sony will dump physical. Costs more and no used copies!

Physical will die out during the next gen. Yes, this will create a crappy situation for some. Once enough of the market embraces digital only, it will have the same effect on the market as it did on PC game sales.

It no longer matters whether it is a good idea or not. This is just where the market has been headed for several years now.

I see your point we will see what the ps5 does if it does get like this I can see a lot of countries creating fake US accounts and address for the LA area (no taxes) I hear of people that live in New York that trick the system to do this.and getting digital that way if it happens, $100 for a game Is a complete rip off . I would be digital only if it was at least the same price like the US do

Do you know if we get game in aust at same time as release?
Mine says still has 1 day and 6 hours, so that would be 9 odd hours after release? Midnight our time

That’s why I ordered it off the US store so I’ll have it at 3pm our time. Aust store had to wait till midnight tomorrow. After what happened last year when they dudded us the early release by making us wait longer screw the aust PS store!

So why is it we in Aus have to wait? cause I am looking at 9pm tomorrow but hey it aint the end of the world, I'm on R&R so I will be drunk by the then and will wake up the next day and be good to go LOL
