Could someone tell me if you can still play multiple teams in Franchise? I like to play games with multiple teams. Also is retro mode still around?

They rely far to heavily on metrics for these I think, you end up with some very strange ratings

It's going to take a lot of editing of these rosters before I start a franchise
Can someone share the link? Having trouble finding it.

Has anyone simmed at all in franchise? Curious if they changed the sim engine to accomodate these drastic ratings changes...

That's a 15-20 HR guy in the game.
How big are his contact/solid hits attributes, though? I feel like with contact guys getting a natural boost in squaring up the ball more that this will all work out for him just fine. Maybe they are just undervaluing him, though. I'm not really sure.

On that note, these threads are tough to enter because all people ask about are rosters and uniforms. Hopefully all roster questions are addressed with A2K's videos, and further discussion on those rosters can appear elsewhere. I, as well as others, have some pertinent questions not regarding those two things that I feel will be lost in the shuffle with all this roster talk.

Also let's not forget that HR/9 matters this year in gameplay - the hitter's power isn't the only factor anymore. Has anyone checked what kind of numbers a player like Lindor will put up in this game?

Looks like I might have to create a bunch of players in my carryover if these rosters are any indication, perhaps the FA list will be full of a bunch of players who are being sent down to the minors.

That said, what do the FA lists look like?

Cujo, could you check if these Pirates players are in the game? They don’t appear to be on the Pirates roster, could you check in free agents or do a player search? Thanks man.

They aren't great either, contact 70 against righties (much better against lefties). So against right handed pitching, Lindor is 70/66 and then 90/62 against lefties. Just bad ratings tbh, compared to other players they just don't add up

Kaleb Cowart is rated a 6 overall, lol. I have a feeling a patch will fix some and stuff, OR, these ratings have been reworked, tested and the individual statistical outcomes will be okay.

They usually have some pretty glaring issues on release, like when Franklin Guitierrez was the most powerful hitter on the game (16 iirc). Unfortunately this year it's a bit more impactful as with Mto having locked in rosters with these initial rosters, they can't fix them (they presumably will in DD, while in RTTS and franchise we can do it ourselves)

I would think they could fix it for MTO with a patch. Would be surprised if they couldn’t.

But roster pre-launch may not be the most accurate one. Worst case OSFM will fix it !!

Isn’t there a roster update on launch day? These are probably mistakes that will be fixed then by the time everyone gets the game.
